The Wonderbolts in a Casual Setting

What if there had been an episode featuring the Wonderbolts in a completely casual setting? I'm not just talking about casual around Wonderbolts HQ; I'm talking about their everyday lives outside of work. Not only would we be seeing the Wonderbolts out of uniform, but they'd be doing normal day-to-day things.

Maybe RD really needs to talk to the Wonderbolts, but she has to look around Cloudsdale for them. Or maybe some of the members decided to have a fun get together around Cloudsdale, and things get crazy. I for one think the concept would be really fun. Not only that, but we'd get to see the Wonderbolts in a more relatable setting. As a bonus, we'd also get to know Cloudsdale better, which is something I've wanted ever since watching "Sonic Rainboom".

My question to you is: What would you think about an episode like this? What do you think the plot should include? I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

Closest we ever got to this was in the comics with Spitfire having trouble teaching kids and Fleetfoot tried to get it on with Big Mac. Really wish both of those actually happened in the show, because it does a lot more for them than the show ever bothered with

Yeah. I would've liked to see that.

I like the idea of a casual setting, but I also think that the Wonderbolts could be involved in some sort play with lore about the pegasi. A sort of 'pegasus pride' episode.

Oh, now that's an interesting idea. I do wish we got more pegasus lore.

I like the idea of a more casual Wonderbolt episode, in all honestly I feel like the Wonderbolts were severally underused in the show. So I'm all for anything that has to do with more Wonderbotlts being featured, even if they're just being featured in a more casual setting or way

Issue 81 of the comic had some "family and friends" type event at Wonderbolts Academy with a childrens' air parade.

We should have had an episode about the annual "Wonderbolts Picnic"!

"Pinkie, I'm so excited! Spitfire is bringing her world famous potato salad!"

"Ooh! Sounds yummy! What are you bringing, Dashie?"

"I don't know, and that's the trouble! Pinkie, you gotta help me! I told everypony I would bake a cake!"

I think it’s a good idea. Unlike Celestia and Luna, maybe the Wonderbolts’ casual lives outside of the Academy can be dealt more naturally to the point without breaking the characters. Besides, outside being a Wonderbolt, most of their characters are vastly undiscovered.

What I think the episodes should be about is

1. How to balance between work (duty) and personal life.
2. How every Wonderbolt members are so different personally, but they can work together so well as a team. What the Wonderbolts and Equestria  represents.
3. Them meeting each others friends and families.
4. How they decided to be a Wonderbolt when they were growing up. (Like the Cutie Mark Chronicles)
