It just an excuse to score brownie points and/or pat themselves on the back of how 'progressive' they are rather than treating it like a normal thing. Especially when you are taking pre-existing characters (rather than making new characters) and turning into something that they're not just to appease a certain group, who had no knowledge of the source material, and yet they are aliening the hardcore fan who do love the characters for who they are.

Vegetables - Why do they always take out or cut open those cardboard trays??? When you want to buy a bunch of cans it's much easier to just put them in there. Bags - I always bring my own bags but they always want to triple bag everything and separate it into twenty different bags. And when you say to just put it in one bag they say "Are you sure?" Silverspark184 1,354 April 17, 2023 Share April 17, 2023 Well not that it grind my gear but there is one thing that does bothers me is this is due to my special needs I had to have some parent or guardian to look out for me so I left my mom and stayed with an uncle cause my mom was not acting right this happened in my 20s and the first time I left my mom I was kind of terrified not sure what to expect I mean I was with my mom all my life until we were homeless 3rd time around I and things weren't always alright and my little brother went to talk with my uncle and soon later my aunt came around after I got my own place and she moved to another building across the railroad tracks I didn't mind visiting though walking back and forth kind of made things hard on me and my legs other then that this really bother me when both my aunt and uncle treat me like a little kid when I am an adult that shouldn't have to be grounded for the things I do and telling what I can't and can watch saying I shouldn't watch mlp cause it's for little kids they don't understand that these ponies were there for other reasons not just because it's for little kids not just mlp but also Bluey paw patrol any thing like that saying I shouldn't watch they don't have my brain they don't see what I see it's not the cartoons fault that I don't pay attention and there are somethings I can do for myself I just don't like being rushed and I don't like people yelling at me for not doing things right I never told my family about this because I have trouble speaking and it's hard to find my words and I use role play to help me get out of my shell a bit and I thank @Princess Silky for bringing me to this wonderful place so maybe I could bring some of that courage out into the real world hopefully I will introduce the forums to my little pony fans near me and send them here when I find some friends that rping like I do maybe one day I will have a watching buddy so yeah

I'm sure you're aware of the scam every gas stations is pulling where the price of gas ends in 9/10 cents. For anybody who can't do math that means if the price is $3.49 9/10 you're paying $3.50 per gallon. If you buy EXACTLY 10 gallons you get a penny off and the price is $34.99. Every gallon over that you're again paying $3.50 per gallon! So I'm bitching about nine cents? Yes! Because it's a freaking scam!!!!!

Pentium100 2,122 July 13, 2023 Share July 13, 2023 What grinds my gears: Web sites (other than banks and other sites where security is really important) that log me out because of inactivity and the inactivity time is quite short (minutes to hours). It seems that I keep logging back in all the time. Steam dropping Windows 7 support. This means that I will not be able to play the games that I bought on the computer that I played them on before (without dual booting another OS or something). Unless I crack the game I bought. Yeah. My opinion about Steam went down quite a bit because of this. Music releases recorded so loud that the signal goes into clipping. WHY? Copy protection that makes a legally bought game run worse than a cracked one. You know, it used to be that the decision to buy vs pirate was this - buying meant spending money, but you get a game that runs without any fuss, no risk of getting malware. Pirating meant not paying money, but possibly having to look for a working crack, risking getting malware. But now a legit game can have malware, run worse than the pirated one and costs money. Yeah... Considering the point about Steam - I am not going to have problem playing all my pirated games on Windows 7 in 2024... Apps. I hate both of the popular phone operating systems and, as such, use an older phone. I really hate it when a restaurant or a shop wants me to use an app. WHY? What's the point of it? Internet of Things. There are quite a few devices that can be remotely controlled over the network. Awesome, does it have a web UI? No. OK, a CLI over telnet or SSH? No. OK, maybe SNMP then? No. Well, I guess I need to use some kind of proprietary program from the manufacturer, right? Not exactly. See, the device cannot be directly controlled over the network. It has to connect to "the cloud" (manufacturers server) first, then I have to create an account on that server and only then I can control the device, in the best case, by logging into the server from a browser and at worst using an app (see point above). The manufacturer could shut the server down at any time and I would be left without the ability to control my device. WHY? Just give me web UI, telnet, SSH or SNMP so I can locally control it without the data going home->some foreign country->home. If the device needs a server, OK, I can run it myself, like I do with Ubiquiti UniFi - that company has it right (at least for now). Ads. Oh, I hate ads so much. Thankfully, adblock exists for the web and a VCR exists for TV. For some reason I do not annoyed as much with commercials on the radio, maybe because I mostly listen to radio as background. Companies that use Facebook as their main website. Really now? You know FB really does not like it when someone does not have an account but is trying to open the "site"? So why do it like that?
