They already showed how Shining Armor and Cadence met in a comics book.

Spike hasn't had enough time as a Sparkle in general. How did he feel about his big bro Shining getting married?

How did he feel about being an uncle to Flurry Heart?

Don't get me started on Once Upon a Zeppelin. I hold a huge grudge on that episode. Make a stranger an honorary Sparkle but leave him doing the Princess work. Pathetic.

Yes, I feel the two should have a eps or moments of them together to see how they interact with the other.   Also sadly we did not see also how Spike might have been treated by Twilight's Parents,   maybe a theme of a family dinner/gathering would have been nice!   We could have learned not only more about Twilight's parents but how Spike was seen and treated by the Sparkle family.

There was the time when Spike confessed with the whole family in the room, that he was friends with a Changeling and Shining Armour was none too pleased.  That's the biggest interaction I can think of but I'm certain there were others too.  I just wish we got more of Shining Armour in general.  I always really loved him and Cadance and the couple of times we did see them resulted in pretty amazing episodes.

They didn't really address the whole Spike being like a little brother to Twilight and Shining Armor until so close to the end (Sparkle's Seven).  There wasn't really any time left to do anything more with them, which is a shame.  I wish there had been more development of the relationship of those three when they were younger, and more development of Shining Armor period.
