Remakes needs to die. Just think of something new already!

If you're going to adapt something stick to the source material! If you're not gonna do that write your own damn story!

Cinematic universes are overrated and rarely work.

Copyright laws juat make big corporations and mediocre artists rich.

I don't care about Kingdom Hearts anymore.

The long wait between Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts 3 made Kingdom Hearts 3 feel underwhelming when it was finally released. :worry:

Hmmm, I like Doom 1 more than Doom 2. Not to imply that Doom 2 is anything less than stellar, but I don't go back to it nearly as much as the first game.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Hollywood doesn't need to try so hard to be cinematic and high quality with it's movies and theatrical productions.

I'm not saying they need to go full-on cheap budget, like an old school tokusatsu or anything. However, they don't always need to use extreme amounts of CGI, tons of visual filters and effects, etc. Especially if it just translates into making visuals dark, hazy, muted, and washed out. Are you really enhancing anything by making it look like this? What's wrong with color or a stronger emphasis on practical effects?
Again, don't need to make a super cheap or lazy production. Movies all ready have bigger budgets that TV shows most of the time anyways. Just prioritize having a good story, good characters, and a good experience.

I would love to see Hollywood break away from this idea that they need to throw away tons upon tons of money to make movies look as high quality and cinematic as possible. You could dial it back a little and still make a great production. Do it right, and I doubt most people would notice that much of a difference.

I don't think the flood of Marvel after Endgame is bad, just mediocre, especially compared to what came before it. A lot of it just feels unfocused and uncoordinated because it doesn't tie together as well as the previous acts which makes a lot of it feel unnecessary if you don't really care about the universe or characters. Even if you do care, because there was so much content being released, it's hard to keep up with and keep track of everything. Instead of just keeping tabs on maybe around 2 movies a year, they're releasing stuff quicker, both movies and shows either in theaters or on streaming.

I feel like a lot of people just dismiss it as trash, but I don't feel like that's entirely right. I think a lot of it looks okay, and there's good ideas somewhere buried in there, but they just don't do a lot to grab your attention and it feels like a lot of the stories have the same vibe or format. I think you could probably argue that being boring is worse than being bad, but that's just up to personal opinion. I think if they just slowed down a bit and started focusing on building a cohesive story, they could redeem themselves and start to win back trust from their fans.

Also probably not unpopular, but I really think Disney should stop focusing on sequels and remakes. It's so tired and boring, I want to see more original content! I love Toy Story, but we do not need a 5th movie, I honestly don't even think we needed a 4th. I feel like if they're going to reboot or focus on any old property, it should be The Muppets.
