One cow produces 500 liters of methane per year... because flatulence.  Seriously.  I learned that in Bio/Chem the other day.  And yesterday in lab, my other teacher told us that despite that many people think CO2 (carbon dioxide) is the worst gaseous pollutant, it's actually C8H18 (methane).

So, if you wonder about global warming/climate change, and why it's so bad... sure, cars produce pollution, and coal plants, and even us humans exhale CO2...

But... Cows.  For real.  Are one of the biggest factors.  Because methane is really bad for the atmosphere and the ozone.
