food Do you like reheated pizza? Are refrigerated and cold pizza still tasty?

The time has come for a confession... I'm always saying how I love pizza, but... it tastes like rubber when you reheat it in a microwave!!!! :glimmer: It is a food that is worthy of being served in heaven, and yet this godly food turns into a cold disappointment upon entering the refrigerator and a rubbery disaster after it exits the microwave.

Pizza is love pizza is life, but when the time comes to refrigerate it, does it become a "meh" food? Does it turn from "best food" to "an ok food at best"?

Eat it cold, it is the devine heaven most definitely! Well, depends, supreme and pepperoni are delicious cold

Chili and Spaghetti also taste good cold!

My first thought when I saw that chili and spaghetti pizza exist was "what have I been missing out on!"  I want spaghetti pizza now lol

I want to try pizza cold, I don't recall doing it in a long time and I'm curious how it would taste cause I can't remember.

Cold pizza still tastes good. I actually prefer eating it cold rather than reheating through the microwave most of the time.

Yes* I like thin base pizzas, they are fine cold out of the fridge or microwaved because they don't soggy like thick base pizzas do.

Microwaved pizza is absolutely rancid. I have a toaster oven so reheating pizza is no longer a problem. I don’t mind cold pizza but it really depends on where it’s made

Microwave pizza is just bad. Gotta use an air fryer, or if not that, then an oven.

It's ok cold, unless it has mushrooms on it, cold slimy mushrooms are just yuck

I love domino's (or other american-gut cleaner pizza) pizza: not cold from the freezer... But the one pizza I bought the day before. A bit dry.

Cold pizza is pretty good honestly, a testament to just how amazing of a food pizza is. Definitely prefer it to chewy microwaved pizza. I’ve never tried reheating it in an oven or air fryer because honestly I feel like it would take too long :P. I’d rather eat it cold.

I love my pizza hot and fresh but I would never throw what is left away, I’ll throw the cold pizza in the microwave and still eat it.

Sometimes they're ok microwaved, but for best results, use a skillet with a lid on top with a medium setting, for about 6 minutes if starting cold. Less if already arm.

  • 2 weeks later...

Pizza is still pizza, even it if it’s not in its original optimal state of delectation. I don’t mind it cold, or even nuked in the microwave. Putting a paper towel over the pizza in the microwave might make it a bit less rubbery, or you can always put it on some parchment paper and give it a few minutes in the traditional oven (about 7 minutes at 375F, no pre-heating). Even a toaster oven might help if you have one. Personally I love pizza so much I could eat the cardboard box it came in and be happy.
