It was today, 235 years ago, that congress adopeted the stars and stripes as our official flag.

Gee, if not, your flag must hate you guys for the lack of respect it gets. Poor Canadian Flag. You have a day for Boxers, but no day for your own flag.

If Canadians don't have a day to celebrate their flag then you should celebrate it on February 15. Thats when you adopted your flag: February 15th, 1965.

It means 235 years ago that rag on a pole became the national flag of the 13 colonies, which then ended up forming one of the most important nations.

 

 

That one looks better than the current one, in my opinion.

At least back then they wouldn't give up our oil drilling rights, in the Gulf, to Brazil for nothing in return.
