Bronies are different than some time ago.

Hmm, I see the point here. I've noticed that bronies in general don't feel much like family anymore... What can we do to make this more like a family community? :D

I'm doing my part. I'm part of the father / son team of Ol' Sarge / SkullBuster. You can't get anymore family than that.

Fandom becoming more dirty? I think you fail to realize how this al started on /mlp/.

Anyways I see what you meen. But this was bound to happen. It happens with all popular memes and community's. The annoying little kids, the massive amounts of R34, the stupid sites that call theme selves 'the home of it all'. It is after all the Internet and stuff like this will happen.

becoming more dirty(?). 10 year old kids are joining just to be "k3wl".

It is dying.

crumbling... falling... breaking up.

Also haters are more hating.

the awesome art made by fans And I thought this group would be stable, long living, special.

huh... sounds like the sonic fanbase. *POW!*

please help me with my dream of writing for sonic team... http://mlpforums.com/topic/25597-attention-all-sonic-fans/

It didn't start on /mlp/, it started on /co/. Honestly, if people on /co/ had just shut up and let people discuss the show like they have and continue to do for every cartoon they watch, (i.e all of them) it wouldn't have gone past that. Nope, ban discussion for over a year until the demand is so high they get their own board. It's a living example of the Streisand Effect.

This fandom is no different than any other, it hasn't changed, it's always been like this. Stop worrying and just enjoy it.

I personally cannot wait until season 3 starts so we can stop talking about the fandom "dying" and start talking about the actual show again.

I still think that in way, we are still a nice little family.

HAHAHA! HAHA! "Little"???

Rule 34 is NOT a reason to leave a fandom.

I don't leave because of rule 34. I will see r34 whenever I enter NSFW board on 4chan. Or search via Google with no "safe search".

The rules haven't changed since the fandom started. Love and Tolerate should be the only rules we need.

Love and tolerate is a fake rule made up by bronies. It was created long after the show started and the term bronies was made. And it has

I feel the early brony community was much more tight-knit, tolerable, and loving than it is now. I feel as the show gained popularity, the fandom grew and its qualities, standards, and morals began to become diluted, especially when the "lunatic fringe" came aboard. The "lunatic fringe" is almost in every fanbase, especially in sports. (lunatic fringe = tiny minority of fans who are so vocal and flamboyant they stand out above the majority and inaccurately define what the majority is all about).

I echo this, and I've seen it myself, online and off, it's terrible.

Special thanks to Midnightive for the sig~

I guess I just try too hard sometimes and in the end I'm the one who's left, still broken.
