ps. To lazy and tired to do other types of games like RPGs, Racing, and everything else. Sorry.

How come the poll is all shooters when the question is which game is best game? None of those even come close to best.

 

My personal favorite game ever is Final Fantasy Tactics A2 or the Patapon Series.

If you're going for a fun, intense, serious, and silly kind of multiplayer shooter, pick Halo. Halo delivers fast paced action with more gameplay elements than most shooters and has interesting weapons and objectives. Also, the campaign behind Halo(which may not be the most fun thing to play) has a great storyline that is continued even further with books and comics.

 

But remember, shooters are NOT the best genre of games :3

Halo, nothing comes close to some of the fun I have ever had on Halo 3. Dang I really want to play Halo 3 now. Everyone knows that if you get a bunch of people together in a very weird custom game, things will be fun. And they defiantly are, so I'm going with Halo!

While not a big fan of 3 and ODST (I liked Reach but it didn't bring back the charm from Halo 2)

Halo 2 is still my all time favorite, I can play that game any time any day.

I'm torn between Halo and Tribes. The appearances are very similar in the games but Tribes is so much faster paced. I havnt played Halo in so long though, I'm just waiting for halo 4.

I have to agree with Raron here, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is one of the best fps games I've played.

Although I may be biased due to nostalgia though.

That's all the options? Damn, there needs to be more. Really, it comes down to personal preference, I've never played any FPS other than CoD and Battlefield (If you don't count Star Wars: Battlefront 2's option to switch from 3rd to 1st person), so for me, it'll be BF3, multiplayer wise. For campaign, it's definately CoD. Since I play multiplayer the most, mah pick goes to BF3, even though I prefer CoD. It's just....why developers, why? Why so many balancing issues?

I chose Timesplitters Future Perfect, and then I thought about it and realized that, to me, Timesplitters 2 is a bit better. It is an awesome series in general though and I can't wait to see it return someday!

You mispelt Battlefield in the poll, but I bet you know that by now... But anyways I say Battlefield 3, COD is just way to fast paced for me. Halo is to futuristic and Ive grown to dislike the multiplayer, altho the single player I think has gotten worse. Battlefield I like the 'sandboxy' gameplay which is xool, TF2 i cant download cause my computer is to crappy, borderlands looks weird and not to fun yet ive never played it. Gears of war dosnt apeal to me. Black ops is just...welll no... ive never heard of time splitters and I only know of a few others but they arent as fun.

For shooter, the Mass Effect series. Very story and character driven, which I find to be quite rare in many shooters.

Gears is okay, I suppose, if you like violence. I did enjoy them.

 

Not the best genre of course, but good for if you're playing with friends

 

Oh, and BIOSHOCK. CANNOT RECOMMEND BIOSHOCK ENOUGH.

Beautiful setting and great game overall, can't go wrong.

there is a reason there in caps, does anyone else remeber when game wern't about 'center screen push button' hell i go as far to say most FPS require no skill, just some tactic 3rd peson shooters need a bitmore skill.

 

i mean sure those 3 were the most linier shooters ever but damn were they fun as hell to play, i think i forked out enough coins to purched one of the arcade mechines.
