I've always wondered the logistics of building a major city like Canterlot on the side of a cliff

I don't see Tartarus (which was established as a physical location in the "School Raze" 2 parter) anywhere on the maps.  Especially not the mountainous terrain the Mane 6 traveled en route to Tartarus.  I also notice that Camp Friendship, Winsome Falls, even the forest and the cave in "Campfire Tales" where the CMCs and their sisters camped, isn't on the maps either.
