Today at work my belief that spending less than sixty dollars on a door lock is a terrible idea was reaffirmed when the cylinder for one such lock exploded immediately after I inserted its key for the purpose of disassembling it. The lesson I have learned from this is that people shouldn't buy cheap crap from Home Depot; especially not if they expect to integrate it into any sort of master system.
