Same here! Colossus might be a little dated and in need of a decent upgrade, but it really is an underrated classic. I honestly cannot imagine Magic Mountain without Colossus or Revolution. Both of those seem really unappreciated by most park-goers nowadays. Maybe it's because all of the park's even bigger and more advanced coasters like Tatsu, X2, and The Riddler's Revenge make the older classics look lame in comparison.

Colossus is just an awesome ride... Revolution is killer as well... I think since Tatsu came and literally went over Revolution, it's been the focal point of SFMM... I think Ninja is another ride that is awesome, but got overlooked by Superman...

I've always thought of Ninja as a pretty relaxing ride in my opinion (sort of like the Whizzer at SFGAm). It's probably one of my favorite rides at Magic Mountain. Though I wonder...Do you think that Full Throttle will overtake the focus from Superman? Or do you think that it will compliment it?

It will complement it. Superman will always be "the big one", while Full Throttle is relatively small. Its stadout feature, of course, being the massive vertical loop/camelback hill.

I think full throttle will compliment it. Superman still is over 400 ft tall and has a 98 MPH reverse launch. Therefore I highly doubt Full Throttle will overtake the focus.

I probably think that it will complement it too. The only reason why I was wondering that is because after The New Texas Giant opened, it has probably become the biggest focus on that side of the park. Granted, people still like and adore Titan...but it just doesn't seem as popular as it used to be (even though it stands out more visually).

I personally think Titan is a much better ride to look at, as well as it has a freaking awesome view from the top. Titan will always be the best coaster at SFOT.

I always thought that Titan was MUCH more visually appealing than the NTG anyway, though for ride experience, I'm probably going to go with the NTG. It's almost like El Toro meets Raging Bull...

The only thing I don't really like about Titan (and it's the same for Goliath) is the lack of airtime. I mean there is only one camel back hill, and you might be lucky to get airtime in the back.

There will still always be a place for Titan in my heart though...

I must agree with this... NTG is a pretty impressive coaster in how much airtime and just how wild the ride is. I also have to agree with how there is NO airtime on Titan... The hill is too big to really give you any sort of air time.

And apparently Silver Dollar City has added a new Scootaloo themed area for this year (and yes I know it's a rooster).

I really need to stop looking up pictures for this ride... I'm getting WAY too excited!

You wouldn't believe how hard I laughed at the Scootaloo joke...

Honestly, that turn really looks awesome... I can not believe that this coaster is only going to have lap bars...

I know it's just going to be absolutely INSANE! I can't wait until they announce the opening date so that I can set that weekend aside already XD.

I might even be able to catch a chance to get back down to San Antonio for the Iron Rattler next spring if I can "convince" my parents to let me go by myself...

Your lucky... My parents never let me go anywhere by myself... It's kinda sad... I can't wait until they announce them, it truly is killingme.

Well... Sometimes my parents will let me drive somewhere far away, as long as I'm going to be back the same day.

So I would have to leave at 5 or 6 am to get to SFFT by 11am, then spend a few hours there...then I would have to drive another six hours home...ugghh but it would be worth it!

Haha good luck :) Just pay attention and you will do great!

I really wish that I could travel to another park that was more than 5 hours away (considering that there are only 3 parks within a 8 hours drive from me) , but I wouldn't be able to spend the night since I'm only 16 (My parents won't let me spend the night in my car anywhere). So I guess I'll just have to wait until I'm 18 for that...

The farthest I've driven by myself was probably to Shreveport, LA (Which is about 4 hours away from me) to visit an old friend that moved, but i didn't tell my parents. *Shhhh*

haha thanks, I only have 2 parks that are less then 5 hours away, Cedar Point, and Kings Island... Ironiclly they are both in the other state, whereas the only real park in Indiana is 6 hours away...

Well, that kind of sucks...but at least they are both really good parks. And since your from Indiana...you can't be too terribly far away from SFGAm. But Indiana is a pretty big state I guess (though nowhere close to the size of Texas).

The only other parks that I can think of that are within 6 hours is SFOT, Frontier City, SFFT, and the new pier in Galveston (I guess you could count Kemah boardwalk as a park too...)

I've never been to Frontier City, which is odd since it is the second closest park to me.

Yeah I'm pretty darn close to the North Eastern border...(Fort Wayne...) Frontier City seems like a pretty cool place... At least in Texas you have more then 1 major amusement park...

Yea I guess that's pretty nice to have more than one major park in the state...but it gets so damn hot during the summer, so I don't really go to the parks much between June and September. Last year we had 42 days of 100+ degree weather in a row

But luckily, it hasn't been too hot this year.

Though, there is a certain person on these forums that I do "envy" because of their proximity to a certain park (and other awesome parks too)...

Dang... Indiana was pretty hot this summer as well... We had multiple days of 110 degree weather...

Yeah, Scootabloom does fill me with jellysy (I think that works)

Yay for coasters!

Oh, ocean kingdom are getting a B&M wingrider. Awesome. I have never been to china. Expect a lot of coasters from me in NoLimits!

Ocean Kingdom... Getting a wingrider... Wow I'm proud of China. Good, No Limits is an awesome program...

I've been to Cedar Point a handful of times. Haven't been there in years. I'm overdue for another trip, but my boyfriend hates heights. :(

I'm glad that Cedar Point was talked about on the very first page because most of the other roller coaster threads I've seen on the Internet are about people raving about Six Flags *coughwhenalotoftheirridesarerecolorsofcedarpointridesough*

At any rate, I've never been on TTD even though it looks awesomely fun... I'm just scared. D: But I've been on all the other roller coasters at Cedar Point. I love the Raptor, Millennium Force, Gemini, Iron Dragon, Wicked Twister, and the Mean Streak.
