Anypony here speak Chinese? I know a good amount for a year and a half student!

I only know a very small amount of Mandarin Chinese, but I can't type any, sorry! I can only speak it! I haven't spoke any in a while either <3

Ikr, my writing is terrible but I'm pretty good at speaking it! Always awesome to meet people that even speak a bit of mandarin.

I was paid to learn Mandarin Chinese.

 

No seriously. About a few years ago a university near where I lived introduced a very fast-paced program for high school students to study Chinese, and I was in the pilot program to see how well kids like me would do, and they gave us a stipend at the end. We didn't learn too much, and I don't remember much, but I'm sure to pick up a few things. At least I had an advantage in writing since I already knew a lot of Japanese kanji...

I've been learning it, only know the very basics as well as numbers. I'd like to find a class one day to take and become really good at it.
