Finesthour 7,277
Best way to start is to doodle. One can only get better as they try. So try to draw something everyday, and if you try hard enough, you will get better.
Inkfeather 597
Get a simple picture for a reference and begin sketching. Just practise.

Klopp 2,050
Repitition is the key to drawing well. Keep drawing the same thing over and over until you get it perfect. Then when you move on to something else, you will find it get's easier every time.

Ezynell 2,034
Eeyup! I'm in the practice stage myself to! And if you think about it, no matter how good you are, practicing always helps!
ScottishUnicorn 284
Depends on what you want to draw, look up a tutorial, learn the basics, and work your way up; really it's just practice. Just draw, draw, draw, and guess what? keep drawing, and you'll get better.

DJ-P0n-3 37
Practice. When you have free time, practice when you can. I've been at it for a couple of months now,and over those months,my skills really improved! Don't be afraid to use references. References are godly and helpful for beginners. And if you ever slip into artistic depression or acquire artblock(trust me,it happened alll the time for me!) just draw, because all the time you would be spending being frustrated could have been invested into improving to the point where you like your work. Experiment with things! Tackle a new subject! Can't draw it? Draw it over and over again until you're good at it. That's one of the most effective ways to improve. derp derp ramble ramble
