I am guessing between 800,000 and a million. On YouTube, you can find countless bronies in every comments section of every video ever, even the ones that don't deal with the fandom. There are a few at my school, and I have friends across the country that I know are bronies as well.

I'd guess about 2 millions.  That's a generous guess, but I swear there is more than a million of us out there!  I mean, my school is disconnected from that kind of stuff (french, without the show on T.V) and I still happen to meet some.  Also, it's been going on since 2010 and it got popular really fast.

You also have to consider people like me... professional adult males who can't display our belonging to this fandom on a daily basis.  Most people would literally be incapable of guessing.  Considering I wear button ups and have a dress code, it's harder for adult males (20+) to be bronies imo.

I've actually questioned myself the same thing a while ago. According to this article, there are 7 to 12.4 million bronies in the United States. I guess they are assuming the amount of bronies in other countries is negligible compared to the amount in the states, but with a range of 5 million bronies (from lowest to highest potential bronies), there could be a lot more on Earth.

I would say waaayyyy more than 100,000 but also waaayyy less than 2 million.  We have actually grown in numbers throughout the years.  85% of us don't go around parading in public that we like the show though.

A year ago i heard that there was around 2 million. I also remember equestria daily mentioning that some people left the fandom this year a while back, but more recently I heard close to 8 million. one way to help wrap your head around this is to think of it like a youtube channel. there are usually a ton more view than likes or subscribers

There's thousands on the Internet. That's a given. But consider who you don't know. I'm almost certain I'm the only brony at my school but I know I'm wrong. Even if it seems impossible to believe simply because people may not look it, there still may be all kinds of bronies in a school. It's highly unlikely to have all these fans and not have any in school. And who says any of them go on the Internet? Then look at how many individual subscribers there are to one brony channel. I've seen one up to a good 200,000. So, counting all these schools, people everywhere, all these different artists, the Internet and it's huge scale...I'd be surprised if the fan base was under 1 million, or even 2, 3, 4 million!

Easily over a million. If you watch some popular brony fan-made videos, 7,000,000 views was probably my highest so far of videos I've seen. You can't just tell me that 6,000,000 other people are most likely frequently visitors of the video on a high basis and or other non-bronies. There is a reason why the show is very successful, and why we have enough of a fanbase to hold our own convention. We're everywhere.
