I never was. I have a tendency to like things others don't, and I also have a tendency to like things other guys say I shouldn't like the Barbie video games (I'm dead serious)

I'm straight as an arrow but neither am I ashamed of liking things that are usually only (supposedly) liked by guys who are gay or gay curious and such.

So I watched it fully expecting it to be another one of those things like the Barbie games. I was pleasantly surprised to find it's actually far more than just a "good girly show" it's actually a decent show in general and though it has some girly moments for the most part it's not all that girly.

Yes. But not really an ardent hater. More just like a mild disliker/asker of "WHY DOES EVERYONE LIKE THIS SO MUCH WHAT IS WITH THIS HYPE"

I was more irritated since people I disliked liked it, which made me see it in a bad light, rather than by the ponies themselves. Although I did think they were rather girly at first and that repelled me. (I hate uber girly things in spite of being a girl.)

While I never had a strong aversion to the show, I must admit I did initially have my doubts and reservations as to whether or not the series was going to live up to its reputation, especially considering its unconventional focus on ponies. Of course any uncertainty I had quickly vanished by the time I'd reached The Ticket Master. Since then, I've been a firm backer of the show.

I'll say this... I was seeing all these pony image macros and avatars on 3DS forums for the longest time since last year, but I hadn't an absolute opinion on it, as I'd like to say I'm a generally nice and openminded person. But I did have my reserved thoughts at the back of my head. For instance? I'm sure we all heard of this terribly, atrocious show:

Yeah... Anyway, I saw the pony icons and thought about THAT show on 3DSforums where users used memes from it. People knew that the Streetfigher American cartoon was terrible, but terrible to the point it went from being a bad, Marvelifed action cartoon to a hilarious one because of just how abysmal it was. So I admit I kind of had the same impressions about the ponies, not that I hated or was annoyed at any point because of their appearance, but yeah. At the end of the day though I was never a hater, however I did have my reservations. But beng a cartoon veteran of sorts, "because it's for little girls" would be a silly and over the top reason to hate something.

Nah, I was never a MLP hater. During my childhood I don't remember ever hearing of MLP. As a teenager I heard of it, but at that point I was past the point of being amused by brushing the mane of toy ponies. lol

I had no idea that MLP cartoons even existed before Friendship is Magic, though.

I was just like "da Fu? Adults watch dis? What is dis crap?" okay I didn't talk like that but...

AFTER CONVERSION:

I watched the first episode. Nuff' said. IT WAS AMAZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING.

No, not at all. I've never had a problem with liking things that are cute or "girly," so I had no bias against FiM at all before watching it.

"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best—" and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.

I was a hater.

I was angered at the intrusive annoying fans who force the subject on every unrelated subject, to the point I'd get mad and troll anyone who liked it. Eventually I pulled my head out of my posterior, and ended up where I am now, but before then, I drew pony-hate pictures which I refuse to share and would troll/be a jerk to any bronies I got the chance to.

And now, well, look at me. :3

I think this is how I first found out about the whole thing:

Friend: Zoop, UD turned gay

Zoop: ?

Friend: he likes my little pony. he won't stop talking about it

Zoop: wat.

Friend: it's some new series or something. he's driving me crazy!

I was confused and frightened at first; I simply did not understand.

But then... then...

I saw the light.

My friend never did though - he's still a hater.

Nah, I really didn't care for it. I honestly thought it was famous just because it sucked. But after finally realizing what bronies were, I immediately watched the first ep. Here I am now! :)

At first I was, ponies were pretty much everywhere, and I had no clue why. It even got to the point that I was going to make a YouTube Poop involving the ponies getting shot by some guy, but after I started reading about the show and watching it, that's when it all changed.

I don't think my parents believe what I say about it. To them, I talk too much about ponies. Ah well.

Hmm... If I was, I have no memories of it... o.o But yeah... First I saw pics of ponies (heck on this one forum I was on, for one of the games I played, someone had a Twilight Sparkle avvie w/ the "Deal with it" thing) then someone from I think Livestream when I was there for a live video of Maplestory Tespia content, said person played episode 1 of the series, but never continued with episode 2... Then it came to seeing videos w/ Pony mash-ups, like TF2 + MLP... Then I heard about Derpy Hooves and finally, one night, I FINALLY decided to watch the series...

And that, if my memory didn't fail me, is how I became a brony... But considering I don't recall the fine details, yeah... But this is practically the gist of it...

I wouldn't say I was a hater... but when I saw pony memes on the internet, I was like "Meh... you gotta be kiddin' me..."

But then someone linked me a quote on blizzards wow forum, and I thought I'd check out the show, to see if it was any good, because I was bored...

And then, I became a brony C:

Yeah. I assumed that the show was annoying because of the first thing I seen of it.

Which was a 10 hour long video of Pinkie Pie bobbing her head with nyan cat playing in the background.

But that's all in the past. I love the show with all my heart.

Honestly, no. I was rather open-minded about it even before watching the show.

I didn't hate the show, but I didn't really care for it either. My reaction whenever I saw someone with a pony avataror something of the kind was something like "This person likes My Little Pony? weird. whatever"

Then I saw more and more ponies and I kept telling to myself that I should check it out sometime to see what all the fuss is about.

Then one day I did. And I think you can guess what happened from there! :P

THE LOVE FOR PONIES IS TOO STRONG

No, not at all. I've never had a problem with liking things that are cute or "girly," so I had no bias against FiM at all before watching it.

Off Topic: Why does Pinkie Pie have a Fluttershy avatar?
