My favorite genre is Progressive Metal. Only 2 videos per post makes me unable to post an accurate representation of my favorite bands, so I'll just go with Symphony X and Ayreon, because I was listening to both earlier this morning.

So, some Symphony X:

And some Ayreon:

Also, while looking for stuff, I learned that Arjen Lucassen has confirmed a new Ayreon release in 2013. Pretty much the best news I've heard all year :D

Well, I think it’s pretty awesome that you are deciding to do this, it’s neato.

While what I’m “into” changes almost daily Trivium remains to be one of my favorite bands and this is one of my favorite songs by them

Also, I don’t want the gift card, just wanted to give you some props and share some Trivium. :P

Symphony-X makes me raise an eyebrow but Ayreon on the other hand I am beginning to like more and more. If you listen the lyrics they actually prove that you can have good metal music that has a positive message written into it. Should a pony know what to look for that is...

I approve all 5 of those. I find myself really enjoying more classical rock these days then anything that the mainstream tries to impress upon the public today stuff that we don`t always realise might not be in our best interests.

I think that my favorite type of music is classical music, but not piano concertos or anything, jsut large, symphonic orchestral stuff. Also I listen to a lot of electronic stuff like dubstep, downtempo, etc etc. Stuff that can make me move my feet lol

I really don't have a favorite genre, although I guess if I had to name some of my favorite musicians, the one that really comes to mind for me is Johnny Cash, the Man in Black himself. B) I do also enjoy a nice and epic movie soundtrack, particularly a lot of Hans Zimmer's work. That, and I've been listening to "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men a lot lately.

Although that's all because I found this PMV, which I can't stop watching now!

I don't even use iTunes, but Imma post here anyway.

This is what I like. Nice, cool, aggressive yet somehow calm, post-hardcore. Awesome.

It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again...

Mostly country, but not the whiney "I lost my girlfriend and I'm drunk" stuff most people think of when they here that.

I finaly figured out what your doing, keep up the awesome work.

I'd also like to complain in general about the media limits, at link make it so it doesn't turn links in videos automaticaly so I can properly link the extras.

Thankyou! I'm not a fan of country music. Never have been. Nothing wrong with per se. Simply just doesn't resonate with my beautiful soul.

It resonates with me because I'm kind of a hopeless romantic, I hope I can have the kinda of relationship from a country love song someday, maybe that's why I've never had a girlfriend.

At any rate, check out the other music I posted. The Cruxshadows and Damn Yankee songs.

OOOOOOOH~

Well I absolutely love classic rock:

My favorites are Queen and The Eagles, as you can see, but I'll listen to pretty much any classic rock song.

It may be due to my Highlander fanboyness, but I'm really fond of "Princes of the Universe" and "Who Wants to Live Forever". Not this cover though:

Jumping into this thread. I listen to all types of metal, with the exception of nu metal and drone metal. I also really enjoy progressive rock music.

I like indie/alternative music. Since I'm on an iPod I can't put youtube on here but search out stuff like japandroids and driftless pony club. Two of my favourite bands ever not including animal collective.

I like video games!
