Midnight and Shira 123 December 23, 2013 Share December 23, 2013 Kind of a mix between closet and regular, I suppose. I haven't gone to any meet ups, however, though I suppose it would be fun to go some time. Signature by Pink Mist!
Sabrinie 392 January 12, 2014 Share January 12, 2014 I think I'm somewhere in between Rabid and Regular. What fun is there in making sense? Please take the time to check out my Etsy Shop or help support my art on Patreon
Riddle 102 January 12, 2014 Share January 12, 2014 I'm more of a Fan with a few items and such I picked up along the way but i like to write fics and make things and talk about the show with peeps and such, but its not my whole world. Anime tends to come first and books over MLP.... (Sig made by Me)
Clarity 3,094 January 13, 2014 Share January 13, 2014 My guide sure is popular. I remember creating those unique scales of mine... I'm now a fan – I'm not as involved in the fandom as I used to be, and MLP doesn't grab hold of me as much anymore.
Celli 4,338 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 Like others have said, I, too, am a mix between regular and rabid. People calling me gay doesn't phase me at all and I don't like shoving it down people's throats, and I haven't been to a meetup or Con. (Would really like to go to BronyCon this year though.) King Sejong 859 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 I am a military brony and the average brony, no matter if the fan had been in the military or not, I can communicate and relate to most bronies. I watched every episode more that four times, and I keep up with new episodes, I have yet to purchase any merchandise but I want to, like the DVD's, the trading cards, books and comics, and I listen to pony inspired music, and have some pony vectored art, I would like to attend meet ups, for I have finally met some bronies that meet in my home town, so I am regular and rabid at times too. SparklingSquirrels 21,347 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 I was probably a "regular" at one time or another, but I just consider myself a fan now. I've started to lose some interest in MLP as of late, so that's mostly the reason why. ֍֎֍֎

Acchan 232 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 I'm in between Regular Brony and fan. I love MLP, and for now I'm collecting cards, but as a minimum wage worker living on my own, I don't have money for merch. I barely have enough to live. Also, I work overnights so the NYC meetups are too inconvenient. I also don't do well in IRL social settings.

Blue Parasprite 197 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 Normal Brony. Quite frankly, it kind of disturbs me to see people who have had their entire lives completely absorbed by the show. Don't get me wrong, I'm a major fan and always will be (It'll probably take up most of the space in my future nerd cave, the rest being for Doctor Who), but it is a little freaky to see someone who wears exclusively brony apperal and never stops talking about it. Moved to Elsewhere 11,331 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 I'd say I'm a combination of a rabid brony and a regular brony. I get a little sad when I see hate pages for mlp but on the outside I'm accepting of opinions. I also have quite a bit of pony merch. Yet I don't reference it at school much. MarineMarksman 73 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 I'm a regular. I don't really buy merch beyond Ethepony's patches, and this one Twilight towel I have. I do write pony fanfiction, and watch the show when it's on. That's about it. FimFiction - Lunar Marines: NLR Airsoft Team Facebook page - Lunar Marines: NLR Airsoft Team Youtube (coming soon) A lot of people ask me.. am I afraid of death? Hell yeah I'm afraid of death. I don't want to die yet.A lot of people think.. that I worship the devil.. that I do all types of.. retarded shit.Look, I can't change the way I think and I can't change the way I amBut if I offended you? Scion of Arcadia 69 January 14, 2014 Share January 14, 2014 In the closet. Only my family and closest friend know about my new fandom, and my father only recently at that. I've watched all the episodes and try to catch them as soon as possible, plus I'm here conversing and RPing about it so I really do enjoy the show. But though merchandise brings a knowing smile to my face, I can never work up the nerve to buy any even if I'm the only one who would know. I don't know what I would do if I was confronted about it. Freeze-Frame 100 January 15, 2014 Share January 15, 2014 I admit, I'm a closet Brony but I have good reasons. * My brother is one of the biggest anti-bronies I've seen. * My stepdad hates My Little Pony because G1 was always on when he wanted to watch Transformers when he was young. * The bronies/pegasisters at my school are the most weirdest people of the face of the Earth, and this is coming from a Brony myself. So I'd really not want them following me if the school found out I was a Brony. Besides, they hate me for no reason anyway. * I couldn't even imagine what my dad found out I watch a show "made for little girls", which is what he'd probably think. But I don't have a problem living in the shadows. I'll try to sneak buying an Octavia figure from Hot Topic or something.
Jackleberry 1,923 January 15, 2014 Share January 15, 2014 Hmm ... I'd say I'm somewhere in between 'Rabid Brony' and 'Regular Brony'. While I am rather obsessive about MLP, I'm not too crazy about it, especially around non-bronies. ~ ♫ 3rd Eye | To suffer hate in search of love, or lose them both forever? 🎔 ~
Expired delta 76 January 15, 2014 Share January 15, 2014 Yep fan sounds pretty much right. Except for the "don't like the community" part. It's not that I don't "like" the brony community, as much as I dislike the way some of "them" go about there problems on and in other forums places. Take Ifunny for instance before it updated. I would see on the regular anti-brony crap everywhere and what is the first thing I would see in the comments of this anti crap? Straight out raging bronies going bonkers losing there damn marbles. (Literally) Going in full caps out trying to insult the person posting the picture and failing horrible. Now there are many times when there are anti post posted and I've seen bronies/pegasisters go about it like some classic thugs and handled it perfectly using common knowledge and control. So really it's not that I don't like the community as much as I dislike some of its members inability to control themselves when faced with a problem. http://i.imgur.com/KsVph.gif
Paleopony 703 September 29, 2021 Share September 29, 2021 On 2012-01-11 at 7:40 PM, Stoner Spike said: What type of brony are you? Rate yourself with the scale that I randomly came up with! Rabid Brony: Ponies are a huge part of your life. Everywhere you go, and whenever you meet someone, you always want to spread MLP:FiM. Much of the merchandise you brought have an image of a pony printed on it. You get insulted when someone calls ponies gay, and always uses phrases from the show everywhere. You always participate in Brony meetups, online sites, etc. Regular Brony: Ponies have made you happy and you regularly watch the show for fun. You buy a fair amount of merchandise, but you do save money on other stuff as well. It doesn't bother you much when anti-bronies call bronies gay, because as long as you love the show, it doesn't matter who else thinks of the show. You try and attend Brony meetups often, but if you missed one, it won't have a huge impact on you being a brony. Fan: You like the show, but you don't think much of the community. You don't buy the merchandise often, or participate in meetups. Sure, ponies were fun to watch, but you'll lose interest after it ends or has a long season wait. Closet Brony: You are a pretty big fan of MLP:FiM, but you don't want to tell anybody in case they embarrass you or bully you for it. You don't spread the show often. Anti-brony: What are you doing on this forum? Out of these, I'm a Regular Brony.

Pentium100 2,139 September 29, 2021 Share September 29, 2021 I'd say somewhere between Regular and Fan. I have some toys, but I do not spend too much money on them, I also don't go to meetups. While I would want to go to a convention, once (just to see how it is, I am not a huge fan of large gatherings of people), I was happy just to watch the show (and reading fanfics) for many years and only created an account here once the G4 was near the end.
