Whenever I go to I new place, I always keep the brochures, flyers, ticket stubs, maps, and other things I get along the way in several shoeboxes.

I've also kept celebratory cards, invitations, and letters in the same place.

 

I don't have space in my room to keep large collections (such as toys or models) but this collection takes up little space and is easy to store in my closet, so yeah.

Beyond pony stuff, I guess I collect Heroclix figures and gaming magazines, both of which I have not acquired many of lately. I would love to collect more things, but lack of funds and all.

I know little to no one here gives a hoof about Dragon Ball, but that's the only collection I have aside from a few video games.

I have yet to get into collecting physical objects. However, I collect virtual MLP related things: art, screenshots, songs, BGM. I have folders in my hard drive specifically dedicated to the purpose of storing any cool MLP-related thing I run into online. And, every now and then, I'll get in a mood where I'll go download a bunch of MLP artwork, or screenshots, or music, just for fun. Adding in the fact that I've been doing this for probably well over a year, it adds up. Thankfully, I have 1.8 TB of hard drive space, so I won't be getting low on virtual storage capacity anytime soon.

I collect a lot of stuff. Some of the main, long term stuff being Transformers and Star Wars toys. I've gotten into Pony stuff too in the last few months. 
Yu-Gi-Oh cards are also a big part of my collecting. I've gotten into them again lately after a couple years of not buying any.

I also have a habit of always needing to buy the most collectible, definitive or expensive 'collector editions' of games and films. Its just a thing I have.

Of course this isn't exactly cheap, so my collection is only progressing very slowly. Why do I collect them? Well, I'm not the only one out there. These machines are really special. I just love the way they look, feel and handle. Using them is just so much fun.

 

What's even more fun is getting a used or broken one and fixing it again. I love spending my afternoons this way. It's more of a hobby really.

 

I hope that one day I'll have all the models I have ever dreamed of.

I collect video games and video game merch. I have a painfully small collection of games and smaller yet collection of merch but I'm slowly making it grow by buying collector's editions where I can. (Last I got was The Last Of Us though I guess you could consider Tales of Xillia's Limited Edition but the entire first print of that game was turned into the Limited Edition and it doesn't have much to it but it's better than nothin' I guess. )

• I also used to collect Resident Evil action figures. I have all the series 1 basic toys and most of the larger Palisades ones but they were discontinued in the states after a while. Same goes with the old Aliens and Predator toys (the ones that came with the little comic books :3

• Movie scripts and props (I own an autographed script of SAW III and movie props from Hannibal)

I have this weird obsession for collecting bottles. 

Alcoholic, non-alcoholic.

If the bottle is pretty, I will bring it home as a collection.

It went to the extend of me BEGGING the Amsterdam airport people to let me keep a bottle which they told me to throw away because there was still some liquid. 

Begged them to let me keep it because we didn't have Arizona Green Tea in Malaysia! 

So, in order to let me keep it, they made me drink the whole bottle before letting me in! 

 

Another collection of things that I have are CATS - let it be plushies, figures and stuff.
