As amusing as it is, the sofa winning, I can't help feel sorry for Diamond Tiara. I really do like the look of her and somewhat enjoy her when she's actually on screen. Yes, she's a young stuck up brat but she can always change her attitude down the line, even though I like her as she is now as the young antagonist.

 

I totally agree on that part. Though I voted for the Sofa, I feel kind of bad doing that because Diamond Tiara has got to have a good side. And maybe if she weren't so spoiled, she could have been a goodie instead of a baddie

Welp, with the vast majority of 20 for Rarity's Sofa and 4 for Diamond Tiara, and for this round, I'm just curious how much of a landslide victory one pony will achieve here.

King Sombra VS Fluttershy.

Wow, that round progressed much more quickly. I like it . I actually liked Sombra, and I thought he recieved a lot of unjust criticism but still, Flutters is a much better developed, interesting and lovable character, so I'm voting for her.

 

On a side note, two of my three nominations haven't come up yet. Given my abysmal luck in Alfonzo's tourney I'm betting they're drawn against each other

Poor Sombra, I like what he could have been for the show but there's no way I'd vote against Fluttershy for him. Just not enough to him and Fluttershy is too awesome.

I would have much preferred an opponent that could actually pose a challenge to Fluttershy and slow her down so she doesn't unfairly win again because there are much better choices out there winning twice would be boring, but I've got to admit that Fluttershy is just infinitely better as a character than King Sombra ever was. Maybe if we had Fluttershy vs Discord, things could have been interesting.

Fluttershy would so win besides, King Sombra's backstory is well as blank as a piece of paper. But, I think if it was Fluttershy vs. Another Villain it would be a different story.

Hm, well, I nominated Sombra, and even though I think he deserves a bit more of a chance, I've come to like Fluttershy a whole lot more than I did since the last Pony-Off(where I didn't really like the idea of her winning), in the sense that she's now my second favorite of the Mane 6 and therefore almost best pony imo, so go Fluttershy, all the way here! Sorry Sombra.

Sombra could have been a great villain.  He had so much potential.  When he was first introduced in The Crystal Empire part 1, I had so much hope that he would become my new favorite villain.  What I got though was some guy who can't speak in complete sentences floating around and eventually getting blown up by a laser beam of love.  While yes, some of the criticisms against him are not quite fair, but I think a lot of people really expected more from Sombra.

 

Also, in the end, he's facing Fluttershy.  I would vote for Fluttershy over Octavia (and any other pony as well).

Sombra was a great villain for what he was portrayed to be. Voted for him simply because I know Fluttershy doesn't need the votes, and she's also my least favorite Mane Six :3

Fluttershy is one of the most adorable and one of my favorite ponies, EVER! Then there's, Sombra... I mean beavers got more screen time than him this season, beavers! And just look at that adorable Fluttershy!

Sombra...Man this guy could of been the top villain in the series but nope, he gets 10 seconds screen time then DIES. Not redeemed, not turned into stone, dead. He really sounded like he would of been hard to defeat 1000 years ago since he took over an entire Empire.

I vote Fluttershy because of this, the Crystal Heart will kill him in less then 10 seconds and it won't even be a competition.

King Sombra seemed pretty badass so it's disappointing that he got defeated so easily... Therefore my vote goes to Fluttershy. Looks aren't everything... luckily Fluttershy has got both looks and badassery! Anyone who can befriend Discord is pretty awesome.

Well guys, congrats. With a lead of 25 to 3, Fluttershy has won. Now she'll go on and most likely trainwreck her way to the top. No pony stands a chance now. May Fluttershy have mercy on their souls.

I must do what Cheerilee would do put the children first.

 

Plus Cheerilee creeps me out. Why do both of Nicole Oliver's characters so unsettle me? Has to be her voice, at least in part. She's too nice, too perfect. It's like there's something dark and unpleasant beneath the surface of both those ponies. If I was making a cartoon with a nice, motherly but secretly evil female character, I'd cast Nicole in a heartbeat.

Very nice matchup. I like Cheerilee more than Pipsqueek though, simple as that. Cheerilee is a pretty decent character in my book, Pip isn't entirely british anyway- only the first time he speaks, what's up with that?

Cheerilee is one of my favorite secondary characters, and Pipsqueek was just kinda...there.   I didn't really like him that much I guess, even though tons of people seem to.
