Easy, use it to create a jar from which an infinite number of muffins would issue forth, and always whatever flavor I was fancying that day.  After that, well, I'd be pretty set, so I'd add it to my collection of strange, bizarre, and obscure objects that I've collected in my time in the field as the Derp Knight.  It'd look great in my Derp Cave next to my giant penny and robot dinosaur!!!

Hmm...

 

Firstly, I would probably use my power to change the Royal Guard's uniforms to something more fitting to my taste. That being a frock coat, hardee hat, sky blue trousers (if they can ever wear pants).

 

Once corruption set in, I would probably set my self up as command of the Guard, kidnap Fluttershy and just be like Napoelon Bonapartte and try to conquer equestria. I wouldn't want that, I would try to have someone convince me to take it off before I became corrupt.

I would try to destroy it, and if I couldn't then I'd lock it in a box, drive to the coast and toss it into the Pacific Ocean. Problem solved ( hopefully)

Use it in a limited manner. Set a timer and allow myself to use it only for short periods. Possibly have a friend who would alert me if the Ill effects were starting to take hold so I could take it off and be uncorrupted.

As for what I would do? Anything to help others as long as I knew my limits.

Honestly, I'd probably just stay away from it, especially if I don't know how it came into my possession to begin with. Best not to get involved. I'd throw it as far as I could, pat my self on the back and go make waffles or something.

First, I'd use the magic to make me the most beautiful mare to have ever existed, with a rainbow mane. Then I'd turn myself into a crystal pony! OMG... So beautiful...

 

Then (if this is possible with the magic?) I'd spawn a top-of-the-line bassoon, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, oboe, Baroque oboe, and English horn, and then I'd bestow them all with magic to make them grant me with a natural talent of playing each one of them at a professional level whenever I played them. (Does that make sense? It might make more sense to those who have watched the anime La Corda D'Oro, but that's probably a real long-shot. lol).

 

Oh, and then I'd make it Winter forever. My magic would automatically override any attempts at Winter Wrap-Ups, until I decided it was time to be Spring. Which I said forever, and since MLP doesn't follow conventional real world science, I think that wouldn't be as bad as if it actually happened in the real world. Although just to be nice to Apple Jack and her family, I'd use my magic to make their apple trees bloom and produce flowers anyway. Aren't I so nice?
