Ok, so recently there has been too much hype, praise and attention to certain games that I have never played before. (not sure if the topic of the post has been already done).

 

Just list games that are very popular and are talked about a lot that you have never played before.

 

I have not played

-Final fantasy VII

-Fallout 3

-Fallout New Vegas
-Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

-Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

 

I keep hearing too much about final fantasy VII being the "best game ever" for the playstation on the internet but yet I have never exactly played it before.

I have never played any of the Final Fantasy Series nor Castlevania, which everyone tells me it's a great game. I have been meaning to try the Final Fantasy Series because I love anime.

I've never played any of the Mass Effect games, I haven't played Dragon Age: Orgins, I haven't played Pokemon Black or White (and I'm embarrassed by this), I haven't played Street Fighter vs Tekken, I haven't played Far Cry 3, I haven't played Halo 4, I haven't played Journey

 

Probably missing tons of games here.

I've yet to play any of the Call of Duty games, even those WWII ones. Also Borderlands,Fallout, and Skyrim, albeit those are on my "to play" list. Yup, still grinding on those PSX games.

I have never touched any of the Zelda games, and the only Mario game I ever played was New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii (and Super Smash Brothers Brawl, if that counts.)

I've never played any of the Fallout games, Final fantasy or Metal gear solid titles. Although i will probably play Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes just because the 10 minute trailer looks freaking awesome.

I feel really bad for those of you who haven't played any Fallout games.

 

For me the list is far longer. Just about any popular game released on a console only, with a few exceptions, I haven't played. As to PC titles, mostly just League of Legends, DOTA 2, and Starcraft 2.

i never played a call of duty game or ridge racer ever before in my life. the funny thing is my brother owns FIVE call of duty games and im like "hah nah not today call o duty"

a few games I'e never had the opportunity to play include Dota, Hotline Miami, Flower, Sly Cooper, Kid Icarus, Twisted Metal, Just Cause, Infamous

you gotta play the first 5 original twisted metal games on the playstation 1 first.

In my honest opinion, the twisted metal games were a lot better when the twisted metal world was more fantasy like rather than the "black" world. By "black" world I mean the games like twisted metal black, twisted metal lost, and twisted metal (PS3) when all the characters were actual humans with serious mental issues. the fantasy world IMO was better and cooler because Mr. Grimm was the grim reaper on a motor cycle and Minion was a demon from Hell who drove a tank. In twisted metal black Mr. Grimm was a soldier who became a cannibal with serious PTSD and Minion was some weird guy who had text in numbers and drove a large tanker truck (those trucks that carry gasoline).

 

Anyways, I sorta disliked twisted metal head on by the fact they removed minion and replaced him with some redneck who drives an RV (his stats are similar to Minion's)

To this day I've still never actually played any of the Call Of Duty series :/ I dunno why I mean I like FPS but I've just never really gotten around to play CoD

Never played a Pokemon game, haven't played Halo 2, 3 or 4 one iota, or any of the Gears of War, or any Call of Duty (barring a demo of 2), the only Battlefield games I've played are Bad Company 2 (single player, multi is faulty) and Heroes, only played a few minutes of Fallout 3 but that's all of that, No Bioshock, no Uncharted, No Assassin's Creed, no Metal Gear Solid, Any Warcraft, Any Elder Scrolls, Any Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto (apart from a few couple-minute stints of San Andreas and 4), any Mario games except Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, any Sonic games, any version of Pac-Man, and any game made more recently than 2010.

 

But by no means do I play little video games (fortunately or unfortunately). I've put collectively well over a thousand hours into Ace Combat 4, 5 Zero, Star Wars Battlefront, Team Fortress 2, many of the Half Life games, Garry's Mod, Mass Effect, Portal, Ratchet & Clank, Sid Meier's Railroads and Sim City 3000.

I have been meaning to try the Final Fantasy Series because I love anime.  

 

If anime is your style try the Tales Series, Symphonia or Abyss for a start and a more likely universe to the japanimation. FF realy doesnt have that much of an anime in it I would say VIII is the most anime of them all.

Probably any game there is out there... I have never played any of the newer Call of duties, Non of the RPG's, No fallouts, no skyrim, no nothing! I only have a few games and stay with them..

I could likely get it for a console but instead, I'm waiting to make the money to buy for the PC.  Which somehow seems to be more of an ordeal.  Not sure how, but it feels that it is. D:

Any of the Call of Duty or Halo games. I just don't like first person shooters with a few exceptions. All of the bad things I've been hearing about their fanbases don't exactly help.  

 

Most of the Final Fantasy games as well. I've only played FF10 and FF13 (as well as FF13-2). Those probably aren't the best Final Fantasy games, but I never got the hype.

 

I've never played any Kingdom Hearts games either, which is funny considering how much I love Disney movies. It's nothing against Square, and the gameplay that I've seen looks fun. It's just that I never got into it back when the first KH came out for PS2 and the plot looks a tad bit too complicated to just jump in at any random game. 

 

Seriously, there's dozens of games that I haven't ever played that everyone else seems to have at least tried-

Any Grand Theft Auto aside from number 4 (I am definitely getting GTA5 next year though)

Any 2D Legend of Zelda game

Any Elder Scrolls Game

World of Warcraft

Any Metal Gear Solid game

Any Mass Effect Game

Any Fallout game

Portal 1 nor 2

Any Half Life games

Banjo-Kazooie.

Oh man, where do I begin? First off, I have not played ANY 7th-generation game except for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for the Wii. Not Oblivion or Skyrim, no COD, no Gears of War...nothing. I lost interest in pretty much everything after the PS2, that was the be-all end-all for me. So with that out of the way, let me think of some OTHER popular games I've never played:

 

Banjo-Kazooie

Any Crash Bandicoot game

Any Super Mario after World & All-Stars

Final Fantasy II-VI, XI and XIII

Angry Birds or anything played on a mobile device

Any Zelda game after the first one (NOT KIDDING)

Any Madden--seriously, I have never played a Madden game

GTA? Not interested

Halo? What's that?

 

Hell, just throw any popular game in there and it's a safe bet I've never played it. I know it sounds crazy, but I don't really WANT to play them. If it's not on the Genesis, Dreamcast or PS2 I've probably never touched it. A game has to reach out and grab me on some level, intangibles and stuff. Very few new or popular games draw me like that. Flash forward five years from now and chances are I'll still be playing Final Fantasy IX, Grandia II, Silent Hill 3 and Radiata Stories.

Also, can't believe some people haven't played at least one Final Fantasy game, you can find one on anything these days and they're usually pretty good.
