Anthropomorphic Rainbow Dash Colored

Chevette

Recommended Posts

If any of you remember the paper drawing I made of anthropomorphic Rainbow Dash, I decided to re-make it on the Microsoft Paint and add some colors to it. So here we are, anthropomorphic Rainbow Dash with upgraded detail and some fancy shoes! I like shoes.

So, feel free to leave your comments, questions & concerns below and i'll be sure to answer them. That is if you want to.

I love it, but I think the legs are a bit too short, and her posture and arm position are a bit awkward.

Other than that, it's pretty good.

Wait. How does she tie laces with hooves?

Quite like the wings. The eyes are really nice too. Nothing really to critique, everything looks quite solid... :P

The thing I want to know is how do they stay on? If she has hooves as feet (who knows), then how does the shoe stay on, seeing as how there wouldn't be that much of a, well, foot to fill it in? Otherwise, this is indeed a solid drawing.  :)

Your lining and coloring is very tight, which is always admirable.

Did you look at any human anatomy references while drawing her, the pose is a little awkward as well as proportion wise.

I think your clothing choice, and detail in the clothing is really nice as well.

If you ever need redlining or help, I used to draw a lot of furry art, anthros are the same thing pretty much.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you!

Usually coloring is the hardest part for me due to my poor eyesight. When I drew her, I basically guessed for everything (even the shoes  ) I figured the pose was a bit off, but I didn't think much on how to correct it without restarting, plus I figured I might as well see how this one goes.

I'm used to drawing vehicles and other things like that so drawing humanized anything was a big change in direction for myself. This is probably one of my 3rd humanized pony drawings, and I was fairly impressed with it so far.

Thank you for your comments, but I'm not sure what "redlining" is when it comes to artwork, I only know the definition for the automotive term.

Thanks again  :)

This is great, and really quite cute, I love the anthro style of ponies, there is just something about them. You've done a great job on the colouring and the lines look smooth, nice work!
