Help me! I just made this pony and I need thoughts on it...

a. Feedback on the pony itself

b. Help on pony name

I LOVE music, so find a name that could involve music. Thanks in advance for helping me, it means a lot!

Red and music. Rock or heavy metal I guess. Hmm. I need more details on his personality and cutie mark for a decent name. At his point, I will just go with : Echo Blaze.

You need to give us your pony's background information. Please update the main post.

 

As for the pony itself, he is very bland and normal. Add some spice. Make a new Cutie mark, use different hair, try adding accessories.

Sorry, I'm more of a classical kind of guy. He loves classical music and plays percussion (or drums) Thanks for all of the feedback! So far I like Crimson Clef, but any other ideas would be fantastic! Thank you so much!

I think Crimson Clef ti s brilliant, but I might as well put my own feedback here. Umm, Red Reverb? Yeah, I just think you should stick with Crimson Clef.

Thanks Everyone! If you want to post more thoughts about my OC, you can, but I think I will stick with Crimson Clef until maybe an even greater name comes to thought. If you want, post any thoughts about what you would change about my OC (His mane, color, etc.)

the red is too red. you hould try fading the color or make it appear softer in contrast if you can. Like stated above his cutie mark needs work.

To not start a new topic i`m hoping that will be quite alright to ask in this one... If that is ok.

 

I am now try to write a fanfic (there is really hard considering my lack of knowledge and experience) and everything going slow but ... well .. before i got stuck on ponies names. I found my self absolute pure on choosing names or how i actually can choose it ... and it is kinda well ... problem . So if some pony can help to choose not just one but three pony names i will be really appreciate help.

 

First pony - apprentice of one powerful unicorn magician, She is out noble family from staliongrad, one of the best student of school for gifted unicorns in Canterlot. Her special talent - discovering, how other things work. Her cuity mark is scroll, book and list over glowing horn. (At least i find it as appropriate cuity mark). In spite of her talent, she is realy close type of pony, without friends so far.

 

Second one - Is a pony, who work in ponyvile hospital, and by emergencies take care about animals in Fluttershy cottage. She have cuity mark of hoovesshake, where one of hooves is wounded. She is from Hoofington, out of pegasi family ( both parents are pegasi) Sure thing, she is enjoying help other ponies, when they get hurted.

 

The last pony - A powerful unicorn, who actually princess platinum apprentice, a pony who experienced in potion making. Well by story, by the time, she has lost her nuts by some circumstances. ATTENTION, once again by some circumstances she got 2 cuity mark - 2 flasks, which strike each other, and a mark of amulet with a few spark out of it. Her special talents - potion making, and crafting magic equipment.

 

I hope that will be enough information if well ... somepony will give a helping hoof...

G. Cleft is a good name in my opinion. Whatever you decide to use, it's a nice OC. I like it a lot. It's not too unoriginal and it's not too bland.

Ok, last part is the cutie mark. If we can figure this one out, then the OC is complete! Now I thought a treble clef was great, but you guys say its too bland... So give me suggestions!

anyhoo, not much to go one without personality description, but i looked up a list of musical terminology, and some seemed promising.  otherwise maybe it could be based around the genre he prefers, or an instrument he can play?
