Who is that dark little pony?

Nyx from the fanfiction Past Sins by Pen Stroke, a 21 chapter story of self discovery. Nyx was supposted to be Nightmare Moon reborn, yet because the ritual made to summon her was interrupte things worked out differently.

 

Twilight would find her, as a scared filly with no memories and no knowledge of who she is. The story Past Sins being Nyx's journey in figuring out who she is and if she must be the monster destiny says she is.

 

Twilight is Nyx's adoptive mother.

Twilight is the best Mane 6 pony hands down! I don't care how many people hate on twilicorn, I for one think it was pretty cool, besides, they would eventually have to introduce some plot change to keep up the story? Also... how can you deny this?
