I'm in one of those moods where I'm not that happy. I'm not full on depressed, but just a bit down in the dumps. These moments only happen occasionally. Whenever I'm in a sad, gloomy mood like right now, I tend to think of Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie is one of the things that brings my spirits back up and stops me from going full on depressed. Her happy cheering and singing is just so happy. The way she's always optimistic about everything really puts a smile on my face.

 

So, here is some happy Pinkie to share with you all:

I permsonally don't like the Rainbow Forms. It makes the Mane 6 look like trolls with over-sized hair, like the ones that you brush the hair of, as a toy. It's artistically ugly to me because they look so... Over-done and over-exaggerated. I just feel it has too much colors and.... Everything.

I agree. The designs felt really forced and over-exhubrent just for the sake of being flashy.

IMO, Pinkie is almost as timid as Nice Fluttershy.  She is, however, almost completely oblivious to the concept that there are things in the universe that might harm her.  Even when things are actively trying to kill her, it almost never sinks in.  Her behavior in Pinkie Apple Pie is typical.  Monsters, a waterfall, just new toys to play with.

 

I point to her behavior in Canterlot Wedding, part 2.  She isn't fighting the Changelings, she is just playing rough with them.

 

Her behavior with the Hydra in Feeling Pinkie Keen is her behavior when she does feel threatened.  1st she freezes, then flees blindly in terror.

I think Pinkie in "Nightmare Night" is the real Pinkie.  Running away in fear is one of her gags.  Seen through this light, her exit in "Bats" and subsequent return make sense.

Well, yes, but you have to remember what Pinkie explained later.  She enjoys being scared.  IMO, she was afraid of Zecora because she thought it was cool to be terrorized by an Evil Enchantress & the same w Luna on Nightmare Night.  It is the same reason people like fireworks & skydiving even though loud noises & falling are the only 2 instinctive fears people have.

I know this is going to sound bad to some people but bare with me until the end.

 

Most people like Pinky's look and think she's cute. That's only true some times, for me. I personally don't like her hair style altogther, in the show, only when it's in certain positions. I've been trying to change it around and see if I can't create an alternative hairstyle that I like, in my style and preference but, man, if you work on it for a week, you just get frustrated -making little bits of progress. I really hope it turns out good.

 

I prefer hair styles that are closer to Rainbow's, with like 10% "girly" in them so, this should turn out interesting for everyone as I do that to Pinky because it's the opposite this time. I'm going to be adding 10% tomboy to her hairstyle. It's going to look a little more wilder and fiery.
