I've heard on good authority that Pinkie Pie is objectively the best thing that has ever existed in the history of forever.

I adore Pinkie, not just because she's funny, but she's funny with a little depth! Let me explain...

 

In most kids' shows, and even some shows for adults, the comic relief characters are just that-comic relief. They appear out of nowhere, make some jokes, and don't seem to learn anything.

 

Pinkie's different. She has a backstory, coming from a boring rock farm in the middle of nowhere. I mean, I talk trash on the part of the country where I'm from for being boring, but at least here there's golden wheat fields, and the vibrant green tracts of corn and soybeans. But a rock farm would just be dirt and rocks. Browns and grays, no more beautiful when the sun glimmers on them than in the dead of night. The fact that there was nothing entertaining about it made Pinkie want to entertain others all the more.

 

Also, she grows throughout the series. After Too Many Pinkie Pies, she learns that she doesn't need to be right next to everypony all the time. In Pinkie Pride she learns that she can't always be in charge of every single party. She's so much more than just a 2D character designed for laughs, a Jar Jar Binks if you will- she's so 3D she could almost be a real person, and that's a huge part of what I love about her!

 

She's been best pony for me since day one, and she'll be my best pony FOREVERRRRRR!

This is one of the most beiatuful things I've ever read in this fan club.

I truely have no idea why but pinkie always seems to lift my mood sometimes I watch "Best pinkie pie moments" videos and somehow crack a smile when nothing else could!  Without pinkie... the show and my weekdays/weekends would be boring and sad
