You know, I think I also just realized another subtle reason I love Rarity. I love my job, and until shear exhaustion takes hold I'm always excited to be doing my thing.

Rarity really is a pony of emotion and passion. It's one of the greatest reasons i love her so much. The love she puts in everything.

Truth? Pinkie is a more accessible character for many. There are very few fans I've heard that started MLP with Rarity as their fav. Hell, even I had her as my least favorite of the Mane 6 at first.

 

when you start to look closer then you realize her depth. When I paid closer attention to her, she not only grew on me ... but within short order catapulted to the top. Her VA, her background, subtle and not so subtle approach to her world, how she carries herself, and the fact that the show's creators have made her in their image in a way ... the voice of all artists ... Make her my favorite by mile.

 

But there is a barrier to entry for most.
