Here's a question for my fellow Rarity fans, then! I know not all of you might be fans of le shipping, but for those of you who are, which pone do you think makes the cutest couple with best pony 4ever?

 

Like, I have this guilty little headcanon that Rarity and Fluttershy were the first major friendship of the mane six to form way before any of the others started forming, like right after their cutie marks were found, and at some point they grew so close that they decided to try dating for a bit. Flutters is, by tenuous canon, the second most generally beautiful mare besides Rarity herself and in competition for that spot with proper attention. So she triggers all sorts of things with Rarity's aesthetic sense, and... Man, I can't even describe it without feeling the urge to write fanfiction! But it's best couple, yes yes.

Funny, my first (and only) fanfic for MLP was a RariShy shipfic   It was going well until I just lost the drive...

I just absolutely ADORE the dynamic they have together!!  

 

Seriously, I don't think any two characters make a more interesting team than those two, friendship or not

 

I've read quite a few RariJack fics in my day, and, I gotta say, they're always the best shipfics, in this obsessive fan's humble opinion

Yes, those two have a naturally amazing dynamic. In many ways similar yet so diametrically opposed. Both are hard workers and savvy business mares, have a strong stubborn streak when they want something badly. Yet they're from opposite ends of the fence. Easily the most potential there, I agree.

 

Still my ship is cuter.

I didn't really like the episode Power Ponies, but Rarity saved it for me. She was just awesome as Radiance, especially since she's such a quick thinker. You could also tell how much she was enjoying it, and she seemed to have the least trouble adapting to her powers.

 

The cutest things IMO were some of the things she created. It's implied that the actual Radiance uses her powers to create "attack constructs", but instead she thought of only "elegant" things. (Spoiler tag because LOTS of images)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Like I said, you can tell how much she was enjoying it. Did you notice how she's smiling in every one of these pictures?

I actually bought a white iPhone so that I could make matching Rarity wallpapers that would blend in with the color of the glass. I even bought a purple case so my iPhone was white and purple just like Rarity
