[Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,302]

I based the color scheme of my character in Xenoblade Chronicles X on Rainbow Dash; though I could only choose two colors for her hair.  They did have lightning bolt face paint, though.

Babe had me name the character Gloria ; ).  That's actually her name, winking smiley face included.  The robot / Skell behind her is named 80083R (Boober), after me.

I started on a new drawing of Babe.  This time she's dressed / cosplaying as Olivia Newton John's character at the end of the film "Grease."

Rainbow playing the role of Cratchit was very interesting to say the least. She looked adorable with that look though, very dapper

I was initially reminded of this moment from "May the Best Pet Win."

In both cases, Dash makes it work.

 

I felt the need to make a few animated GIFs from the latest episode:

 

I especially liked how her mane looked from behind; the closest they've gotten, in-show, to Babe's current, short mane cut.

Also: I saw a butt.  And isn't that precisely what the holiday spirit is all about?

Not sure how i feel about rd's wonderbolt status right now. I feel happy for her, yeah, but the wonderbolts can be kinda...odd? flawed in the wrong ways? i'm not really sure...I have mixed feelings about her newest ep after seeing it again, i guess xD

Babe and I were watching an episode of "Strike Witches" earlier, and this moment stood out:

You know...rainbow dash might remind me of myself a bit, in a way.

 

She looks up to the wonderbolts: And they have a rep of being bad to her, bad to her friends, bad to THEIR friends, yet she still wants to be one. She refuses to give up on that dream. And, somehow, she may always be awesome, hopefully.

 

It reminds me of me cuz...i'm a girly girl. Yet i always hear its wrong to be girly, girly girls are bad people that hurt others and their friends too. Yet I refuse to stop being girly and believing i can be girly and still do awesome things in the world.

 

Kinda like rainbow with the wonderbolts If i can believe in her....i can believe in myself, too. RD really IS awesome....all the stories tell such good stories. Espesally rd.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's why a good number of people gravitate towards Rainbow Dash.  There's something about her confidence and perseverance that inspires confidence and perseverance in others.  Some people try and diminish these qualities by calling her prideful or boastful.  But it's good to be proud of your abilities; to push yourself to become better.  It's good to be proud of your accomplishments; to mark your progress towards a goal.  I have a difficult time with those things, personally.  The moment I start to feel pride in myself, I tend to go running back to the other end of the spectrum.  Rainbow Dash has taken some hits to her pride throughout the series that would have flattened a lot of us, but she always bounces back and continues being confident, dependable Rainbow Dash.  I think that's an admirable quality.

Summer is just around the corner.  My kids are excited to go to the city pool on Memorial Day.  (and my wife looks great in her new swimming suite, if you know what I mean).  So, with this on my mind, here's Dashie in her swim suite, looking good

I'd watch Pokemon if Dash replaced Ash as the protagonist.  (Is he even still the protagonist?  I haven't seen the series in forever.)

I think Dash could also replace a number of the Pokemon.

Yeah, Dash is awesome just for being Dash. And, yeah, ash is still the lead character. I don't really get what people dislike about him...well, other than he lets his pokemon go a lot. I guess thats pretty lame.

I was fonder of Misty, Jessie, and Brock (I threw Brock in there kind of half-heartedly).

I'd describe this second one as "sexy."

I didn't draw the ballerina picture.  I simply found it online in a search of, not surprisingly, "dash ballerina."  When I post my drawings, they almost always have my "SD" insignia somewhere in them.  And I'm not sure Babe would like me depicting her as a ballerina anyhow. ^w^;

Latest episode had multiple standout Dash moments; as well as some standout Dash-face moments.

 

Much ado about fabric.

 

I call this one: "B****, please!"

 

This last one is now one of my favorite facial expressions in the entire series.  It should be vector'd immediately, and I might draw it myself at some point.
