Have you ever been banned?

I've been banned from halo.wikia.com eight times. The mods there are terrible and just ban you for things you really shouldn't be banned for. This is a shame because the regular members are really cool. Oh well, it's been a few years since I visited that site and I don't plan on going back.

I'v never been banned form a website. 

But trust me, i'v been banned from plenty of games.

 

1. Black Ops II, for reporting too many boosters. *They thought i was abusing the report feature*.

2. Battlefield 3, alot of servers. *Admin's abusing their powers*.

3. ArmA 2, *same as Battlefield 3*.

4. Steam, *VAC banned for accidentally downloading an aim-bot*. Which was back in 2006.

5. DayZ, alot of servers. *Talking too much in Side Chat*. 

                                                                       

 

For the VAC ban, that was before Steams Terms of Service changed. And when they didn't have ban strikes.~

The only time I've ever been banned from a forum was during a civil war.

 

The forum community split got into a huge fight and half of the people created a new website... www.ForumName-2.com (not the real name)

Needless to say both sides created hundreds of fake accounts on the other forums and started trolling. I had probably 10 fake accounts on their website that got banned.

 

In the end the war for secession was eventually successful, however both smaller forums where no longer able to meet the costs of paying for their servers and subsequently shut down.

I've gotten banned on club penguin because I was too bored and my past self (several years ago) thought swearing was cool.

But since then, the only other place I've been banned on, and numerous times, was the Banned Game of MLPForums.

I think I may have gotten the occasional warning here or there, but I don't think I've been out and out banned from a website. I don't really have any interest in causing trouble or starting fights, but I have a tendency to say things that I don't think are that bad, but other people have a differing opinion, and it causes trouble. It's completely unintentional, but sometimes, trouble just seems to find me.

Only once, from a Minecraft server. i was in conversation with another person, who was talking about how much they hated a completely different server. I agreed that said server sucked and called it elitist. Apparently someone on my server tattled on me (or they were part of the other servers staff) and perma-banned me from theirs for "trash talking." I went to their forums to write out an apology, but they didn't lift the ban. I was upset at first (because I had tried to gain access to that server in the past, but with little success) but I got over it. My opinion stands, and their unforgiving behavior only confirms my opinion of them. Looking back on it, I'm glad they banned me because it really opened my eyes. Newcomers to that server don't stand a chance with the way its runned.There's no way i could have ever been happy on that server. if i had the opportunity to go back i wouldn't.

these were all Brony servers btw. way to tolerate. when i apologized, i really was being sincere and had done my best to explain my behavior. i was really surprised they were so unforgiving, especially since the entire thing had happened on a totally different server and it was only words i had carelessly let slip out while conversing with a stranger. is it even fair to perma-ban someone for something that happened on another server?

 

edit: Nope, I also had an account banned on the game Transformice. I was fly-hacking, which at the time was extremely common. (i never used it for anything other than personal amusement.). I admit I deserved that ban. i just made a new account anyway, not that i'd ever be foolish enough to fly-hack again. (lesson learned)

That's what usually happens to me all the time. I honestly just got kicked from a Wasteland Server for saying on Global chat that the admin has godmode on.

I have been banned from an Anime forum where the leader turned into a Sudo-Nazi, and deleted me from the forum due to me talking to someone he disliked.

And the other place I have been banned from was a game called "Maplestory."

I have never once been banned from anything.

 

Well, let's see.  I've been banned from several Call of Duty servers because they thought I was cheating.  Also from a CoD clan website because I challenged the leaders methods of running the clan.

 

My brother and I were also recently kicked from a Battlefield 3 server because we were rigging our team's helicopters with C4 and when we'd detonate it, they would lose control of the chopper and crash.  It was totally worth it, though.

This is my 47'th account on MLP FiM forums, because I get banned every day then remake the same account and be a D*** to the bronies.

 

 

In reality I have also been banned from Minecraft servers out the wazzoo, every forums I have ever been on, almost banned from youtube, and once had my internet taken away for a few weeks by the service provider for overusing the internet. I have also been banned from multiple wiki's for having bad grammar, and that happened on another forum as well. I guess I just type bad.

 

I am just that ban-able.

I've been perma-banned from 1 forum and no game servers (as of yet) and my VAC status has been "in good standing" since I joined steam. I've been kicked from servers, mainly C&C Renegade for dumb crap like base to base attacks with a sniper rifle or something and L4D cause people suck. I was banned from that forum because the line between abandonware and piracy is a lot fuzzier than I thought. I do have some long expired infractions on my Dave account. Outside of that, nothing to write home about.

I have, however, been temporarily banned (maybe a week or so) from this one gaming site for swearing. Other than that, I can't think of anything.

I got banned from TFwiki.net for posting a false name for an unknown Transformers Animated character. I guess I thought that I should have the character named what I wanted her to be named, "Elisa". But if you look her up, she doesn't have a wiki article, still, because the one I wrote for her was god-awful, since I was 11 at the time, and I didn't know that the info I posted didn't have to be canon. It doesn't bother me much now, since I'm not banned anymore, and I'm now able to post factual info. But at the time, I was so filled with 6th grade rage that I didn't know how to handle myself. 6th grade rage is the worst.

I was banned from my main forum for five minutes because I told the administrator to ban me. The reason for the banning was "You asked for it." Also, my troll account on that site was banned, so I guess that counts. (It was just a practical joke. I wasn't malicious or anything with it, just kinda annoying. And funny to some people. Maybe mostly because at the same time, I was a moderator there. And I still am.)
