Twilicorn is a beacon of hope for other characters getting a finale arc. Rd joining the wonderbolts, Aj taking over the farm, Rarity getting a shop in Canterlot, etc. I got over the fear of twilicorn by the time the finale came out and have supported it since then. This was always meant to be a thing.

I support it. I never thought that Magical Mystery Cure had too many songs, in fact, I liked them. Twilicorn was a great idea for the season finale, and there are now so many stories that write themselves now that Twilight is a big part in political government! I would love to see what comes up next in the series.

To be honest, I'm kind of frightened to see what will happen in Season 4.

The season 3 ending was just plain horrible.

Putting that aside, I'm not going to say whether I support it or not. I'm just gonna see what happens.

I'm calmly against Twilicorn. Honestly, I'm going to wait until season 4 to fire my shots but...

From ace student to global celebrity...not what I was wanting to see.

Then again, I sorta forget how freakin powerful Twilight was even before she became an alicorn. Think of all the crazy ridiculous magic things she did throughout the series, starting with her first encounter with Trixie.

In reflection, she really wasn't as "normal" as I thought she was.

Wow, constantly using past tense sounds like Twilight sort of died and Twilicorn was born in her place or something. I really liked the "normal" Twilight. There's a part of me that makes me wanna smash my keyboard and support that notion but the other part is reminding me to just wait and keep my cool on this matter.

I don't mind Twilicorn at all... as long as they don't screw up the show or something like that. But at canterlot gardens Tara Strong said that the show will remain normal even though Twilight is a princess. I trust Tara :) .

As for why Hasbro did it which was to make more money, well a business is a business so I get it. I'm fine with it really, I don't think anybody should get too worked up over it until they see how Twilight is in season 4.

Not sure.  It might not really change how the show is, but then again it very well could.  Especially since she's getting taller and skinner than her friends, it's just going to look weird.

It annoys me, because Hasbro did it to sell Princess Twilight toys.

But I'm not AS outraged as I was when it first happened.  When I first saw that episode...well, I was NOT impressed.  I nearly gave up on the show then and there.  (Not the fandom, but the show.)  But, after some time to think, it presents some opportunity for interesting things to happen.  It remains to be seen whether any of these opportunities will be taken...

Your move, episode writers.

I love her as an Alicorn, as it's my favorite "race," if you will. I love Unicorns, and I love Pegasuses in mythology, so having both is awesome. yay.png

Though, why is it called Alicorn? Where does the "Ali" come from? Not to sound stupid...blush.png

It's fine, she can fly now!  Well... More than before.  Er, could she fly?  Using her magic, she could fly...I guess.

What would this bring to the table now that she has wings though?

The transformation of Twilight Sparkle into an alicorn was a surprising one indeed.

But we must remember a few things.

  • There were hardly and lessons on friendship for Twilight to learn
  • The show couldn't go on for every with Twilight and the gang learn about the values of friend ship. The show would slowly decline as no new ideas could be produced
  • Most of season three was put in a bit of a corner. Most of the episodes were "special episodes". They took twice as long to produce. That either developed the plot way to much in each of the episodes for the producer to actually point it into the original directs.

But even with these few peices of information in mind. Not all of us can let go of the old Twilight Sparkle at first. I was shocked and astonished that they did something of that magnitude in the show. I was flaberghasted. I didn't want it to happen. But then as a bit of time went on, I came to accept the fact that Twilight had changed (just as this thread's started had said) and eventually came to like it.

But it really up to each and every one of you guys to decide if you like.

Here's a quick chart on the pros and cons of Twilight turning.

Pros

  • The show took an exciting turn, leaving the veiwer wanting to what happens next.
  • It boosted the number of veiwers watching

Cons:

  • Not everyone is satisfied with Twilight's transformation
  • For some, it won't be the same
  • Some people ( even I) fear what will happen in season 4

I've supported Twilicorn since I heard about it, and I'm sticking to my support. I love the concept and not to sound rude or anything, but anyone who doesn't can shove it, because she still the same adorkable, somewhat paranoiac egghead we all know and love. That is all.

i have a lot of hope that Twilight will be better than she was when she was a unicorn though i have seen many bronies frown about the new Twilight. I don't think that Sparkle will/is terrible as an Alicorn, i support Twi and know that the change from unicorn to Alicorn will be the best transformation in Brony history.

It's true that they rushed that episode a bit, but the songs weren't to bad and the referencing to the Beatles was amazing but the ideas of twi being more than her friends rather than equal to them means that the whole show is gonna have to change to make sure they stay together, either by twi giving up her rank or all of them being made superior to the other ponies, neither of which sounds like a good storyline, seriously needs some good story writing to get the plot back on track :|

Seriously...

How long have we seen Alicorn Twilight in the show in total... 6-7 minutes including EQG? I'm not really sure how anybody can be placing an opinion yet. Like some people have said. Innocent until proven guilty >->

In life when you are given gratitude.

Be accepting and thankful of it.

Because someday you just may be able to pass it on to others...

As S4 draws near, I find myself in a state of pacifist disapproval. I mean, I accept that others like this. However, I myself strongly dislike this. I support making others happy more than myself, though, especially when a majority is involved. Don't mistake this as supporting AliTwi; at this point, that is both mentally and morally impossible for me to do. But, if it makes others happy, I support that. smile.png

Indeed.
