Pinkie's toothless alligator can never match the epicness that is Dash's flying tortoise. Also, Dash is 20% cooler than everything in existence (so she's 20% cooler than herself. Go figure.) Anyway, Dash can save lives and do it in style, instead of relying on a non-existent sense that communicates through shivers. Pinkie sense works through coincidence. Rainbooms, speed, loyalty, and pure epicness aren't coincidence. They're gained through effort. So, VOTE RAINBOW!

Realising that something is breaking the laws of logic needs logic itself, so your argument is now rubble, because you said that Pinkie defies logic, making arguments fall, but you used logic to argue against my argument, so consequently, therefore, it can be said that your argument contradicted itself and is invalid for use against my argument.

So if I was to insert the probability of your logic being defeated, it would be defeated, and for an encore, it may turn a lot of nuclear warheads into whales. So, do you have a problem with my logic (sustained by the Infinite improbability drive) sustaining my argument and turning yours into rubble?

Aaand that's the end of it! I'd like to take this opportunity to say, that was the most fun I've had in a thread with ages. Got to throw a load of Pinkie pride around with fellow fans and have the world's friendliest clash of the titans. We brought Pinkie Pie to the national championship match for the second year running, and I'm thoroughly proud to have been a part of her progression.

 

And a bigger well done to the Rainbow Dash fans! Flocking in your numbers and being a honourable (for the most part) opposition, it's only right that when the time does come for Pinkie Pie to pass on her crown, it's to a pony like her. After missing out on a higher position in so many other tournaments, such as last year's March Madness and the Most Attractive Pony contest, I'll bet that the fans are overjoyed to see their pony of choice get themselves a victory - and that would only be fair

(Pinkie Pie's win record is still the largest!)

 

Now that it's all finished, boy are they both exhausted. Thanks to everyone for making this tournament as fun as it has been!

This tournament was quite interesting thanks in large part to some of her best character development since season 3 AJ made a very strong showing and came close to beating Twilight who is one of the most popular characters in the show. Rainbow Dash gave Twilight quite the beating which some have speculated to the twilicorn controversy and that of course may have been part of it but in this one thread I started on the subject most people said it didn't change their opinion of her so I think there were other factors like with how quiet her fans are. Pinkie Pie beat Discord by a wider margin than I expected but he at least didn't take the beating Twilight did, and Rainbow Dash in large part due to having just as strong a showing as Applejack did in season 3 and already being popular was able to clench a decisive victory.

 

My first choice would have either have been Applejack due to her being seriously underrated and being my favorite pony since the start, or Discord because well he is fricken Discord people. Rainbow Dash though is still a worthy champion, she is cocky and brash but is also a bit softie deep down who though she has some insecurities about maintaining her rep always keeps her friends and her principles first.

All in all a very fun tournament. While I'd have preferred for Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy to go a bit further, you can't ask for much more than your favorite character defeating your second favorite in the final . A big thank you to anybody who voted for Dashie, and to Dr. XFizzle for organizing this.
