Favorite band: Metallica or Megadeth. Too hard to pick. :P

Favorite Singer: I don't really have one, but maybe 80s Hetfield or Bon Scott.

Did you ever think I get lonely?

Did you ever think that I needed love?

Did you ever think, stop thinking

You're the only one that I'm thinking of?

My favorite band is Chicago. Their 60s/70s music is the best.

My favorite singer? Not something I've ever really thought much about... Perhaps Jim Croce.

And I think it's only fair to include my favorite composer, since classical music is one of my top genres. However, I can't really do that. D: Mozart made a lot of great music that I love to listen to... But so did Ravel, Debussy, Tallis, Vivaldi, Bach, etc.

Streetlight Manifesto

I got to see them live a year ago. They're awesome!

I've seen them several times, over the years. Most recently, I saw them last November. It was amazing, as always! I never get tired of it. :P

My favorite singer is Christian Älvestam by miles, for his mastery of harsh and clean vocals. When he left Scar Symmetry, they needed to replace him with two singers.

I have a hard time picking a favorite band, but I'd have to say that it's Disturbed.

Several times? Wow. Seeing them last March was actually my first concert ever altogether.

When did you first become a fan, then?

Does Pinkie Pie count?

Uh. Well. So many choices...I have to say...uh...well, I'm probably the only Hispanic here anyways, so in truth, it's Juan Luis Guerra & 4.40, but my favorite English band would be Linkin Park.

When did you first become a fan, then?

I first heard them in high school. In art class, borrowing the headphones from a classmate named Tony. So... roughly 5 years ago? I'm actually not sure how many times I have seen them. First time was in St. Pete, though I've also seen them in Gainesville, Jacksonville twice, and once in Tallahassee. Maybe also Orlando or Tampa... It's always awesome.

One year they were touring with a band called Zox. I hadn't heard them before, but they put on an AWESOME live show, and I was thoroughly impressed. I was 16 or 17, and not allowed to drive out of town by myself, yet. I talked my dad into taking my best friend and I to Gainesville to see them. Longer story shorter, we enjoyed the show so much, I convinced my mom to take us the next day to see them in Jacksonville. B)

Zox never really made it big, and they haven't gone on tour since then. However, each year they do a reunion show in Rhode Island. This past summer, I saved up just enough money to fly up there and see them. I didn't have enough money to get a hotel room (hella expensive in RI!) so I flew in the morning of the show, took a cab to downtown Providence and walked around until the show. Afterwards I took a cab back to the airport, and slept on the floor until my 6 am flight. It was 85 degrees when I left Florida, so I didn't think it bring a coat. I tell you, it was FREAKING cold on the floor of the airport! :o I was so excited when the gift stores opened at 4 am, and I immediately bought a hoodie. It is now my favorite hoodie, because it reminds me of one of my favorite adventures I have ever had.

I love concerts. Besides the Zox concert, my favorite might have to be seeing Sam Beam (Iron and Wine) play. It was so beautifully surreal.

I enjoy many types of music, but I really enjoy pop music the most. So I'd have to say Ke$ha, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and some others are my favorite music artists, and for my favorite music band, it'd have to be... Three Days Grace. :D

Favorite band: I don't know, I like alot of bands without really having a favorite. These days I listen a lot to Genesis, Gong, Harmonium, The Soft Machine and Pink Floyd, but I'm not sure if I could consider those my favorites.

Favorite singer: Once again, I don't really have a favorite but I enjoy works by Syd Barrett, Mick Jagger and Jim Morrisson to name a few.

Favorite guitarist: Mark Knopfler (He's the singer and guitar player from the 80's band Dire Straits. His guitar work is just fantastic)

Favorite composers: Ludwig Van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin and Franz Liszt. I've been getting into classical music alot recently and I love the stuff that these guys composed!

Edit: also, Rick Astley

Yay something I can actually reply to! I'm into alternative rock and metal bands (that's just a vague description of what I listen to) and I like quite a few bands from the genres, so here are a few of 'em.

My very favorite is Thrice. They're a four-piece hardcore/rock band and I flippin' love them just because of how dang creative they are. While they are mainly hardcore type music, they tend to branch out into a lot of different styles, especially in their album "The Alchemy Index" where they used freakin' blues and country with their normal style.

Here's a pic of them:

My second favorite happens to be a Christian rock band called Falling Up. They started out with that stereotypical nu-metal sound, but eventually became kinda grunge-tacular and added lots of ambient elements. Interesting, they are.

Here's a pic of them:

I'm also a huge fan of Linkin Park which all ya'll probably know about. If not, then I'm afraid to say that you've been living under a rock for the past 12 years.

It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again...

I have a few favourite musicians

I'll start with the Tool since they've already been posted:

Tool is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1990, the group's line-up has included drummer Danny Carey, guitarist Adam Jones, and vocalist Maynard James Keenan. Since 1995, Justin Chancellor has been the band's bassist, replacing Paul D'Amour. Tool has won three Grammy Awards, performed worldwide tours, and produced albums topping the charts in several countries.

Metallica: (80's-90's metallica was best metallica)

Metallica is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California whose releases include fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as one of the founding "big four" of thrash metal alongside Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax.[1] They formed in 1981 when James Hetfield responded to an advertisement that drummer Lars Ulrich had posted in a local newspaper. As of 2003, the line-up features long-time lead guitarist Kirk Hammett (who joined the band in 1983) and bassist Robert Trujillo (a member since 2003) alongside Hetfield and Ulrich. Previous members of the band are lead guitarist Dave Mustaine (who went on to found the band Megadeth), and bassists Ron McGovney, Cliff Burton and Jason Newsted. The band also had a long collaboration with producer Bob Rock, who produced all of its albums from 1990 to 2003 and served as a temporary bassist between the departure of Newsted and the hiring of Trujillo.

Pantera:

Pantera was an American heavy metal band from Arlington, Texas. Formed by the Abbott brothers, Vinnie Paul (drums) and Dimebag Darrell (guitar) in 1981,[1]bassist Rex Brown would join in late 1981 with vocalist Terry Glaze. Looking for a new and heavier sound, Pantera had Terry replaced in 1987 with Phil Anselmo as the new vocalist. Pantera has sold around 20 million albums. Starting as a glam metal band, Pantera played a heavier groove and thrash sound when they released Cowboys from Hell in 1990. Their second album Vulgar Display of Power, released in 1992, revealed a heavier sound than Cowboys from Hell and their 1994 release of Far Beyond Driven debuted at No.1 in the Billboard 200.

Lamb of god:

Lamb of God is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1994, the group consists of vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Chris Adler. The band is considered to be a part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement.

Alice in chains: (R.I.P. Layne Stayle. I miss your voice.)

post-1707-0-59262900-1333500481.jpg

Alice in Chains is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1987 by guitarist and songwriter Jerry Cantrell and original lead vocalist Layne Staley. The initial lineup was rounded out by drummer Sean Kinney, and bassist Mike Starr (who was replaced in 1993 by Mike Inez).

Although widely associated with grunge music, the band's sound incorporates heavy metal and acoustic elements. Since its formation, Alice in Chains has released four studio albums, three EPs, two live albums, four compilations, and two DVDs. The band is known for its distinct vocal style which often included the harmonized vocals of Staley and Cantrell.

Volbeat:

Volbeat is a Danish heavy metal band formed in Copenhagen. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal, punk and rockabilly. They are inspired by classic rock and roll artists such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, as well as more contemporary hard rock, punk rock and metal bands, such as AC/DC, Social Distortion, The Misfits, Napalm Death and Metallica.[1] Their line-up consists of vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen, bassist Anders Kjølholm and drummer Jon Larsen. The band is signed to Dutch label Mascot Records and has released four studio albums and one DVD. All of their studio albums were certified gold in Denmark. Their second album Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil received platinum status, and their latest release Beyond Hell/Above Heaven was subject to widespread international critical acclaim, receiving double platinum in Denmark, platinum in Finland and Germany, gold in Sweden and Austria.
