To be fair to sunbutt, she cast out Nightmare Moon, and welcomed back her sister after Twi fixed that problem for her.

of course, she was the CAUSE of nightmare moon due to lack of consideration for her sister's feelings, and they were definitely back on that path again in S7 before the Tree and Starlight intervened...
