I played I Wanna Be the Fan Game a while a few years ago it's pretty trippy and extremely hard.

 

I haven't played too many strange games.

You know, there was this one very naughty naughty naughty Phoenix Wright hentai game I played titled Phoenix Drive. The engrish in it was astonishingly horrible, especially when the naughty scenes were going on not to mention that the overall proportions were also screwed to hell.

 

I'm trying to find some sfw screenshots that show the best of how lousy this even is but I can't find any nooooo

As for my weirdest game, I was originally going to go with Conker's Bad Fur Day because of the great mighty poo, but someone reminded me of Katamari Damacy. Such a happy game despite the fact that you're destroying the planet. That in itself is very odd, but then there is that girl who "feels the cosmos." I find her really creepy for some reason.

I'd have to say Yume Nikki is probably the strangest of all the games I've played. It's an extremely surreal experience with a lot of stuff to uncover.

 

I've heard that LSD Dream Simulator is probably the MOST surreal game out there. It sure seems like it although I haven't actually played the game myself.

"Attack of the Sunfish" immediately springs to mind. Weirdest game I've ever played or probably will ever play. I ended up uninstalling it because I was worried it might have a virus, but just watch Pewds playing it to see what I mean.

As for my weirdest game... hmm...

I would have to say Lollipop Chainsaw is pretty weird, I do like the quirky humour. But it's weird because when I close my eyes it's like Twilight Sparkle is saying what Juliette Starling is saying (since of course, same voice actor).

Another entry for me: Sonic the Hedgehog on the Super NES. Yes, you read that right.

 

It was a terrible hack to an already terrible game. Someone created a really bad Speedy Gonzalez platformer a la Bubsy, then someone else hacked it up with Sonic sprites, a few sound effects, and the rest was mostly turned into garbage that didn't even render properly.

 

I call it weird mostly because of how just plain awful the hack was. It ended up having a very surreal feel to it.

Seriously. And there's a cool mode for all of the songs and they're all kinda weird.

WHAT THE RANCID CUPCAKES SITHSPIT IS THIS!!?!!! Seriously, who the hell made that up seriously was tripping on some drug or the other....

 

Between having a guitar that lights stuff on fire, carting kegs of explosive beer to the beach before they get too warm, and summoning lead zeppelin (not the band, a literal, flaming lead zeppelin), I gotta say Brutal Legend. Lotsa strange enemies, lotsa strange allies, and lotsa weird abilities in that one. But, I love it for them. And ya gotta love that it gives you the opportunity to turn off the gore and profanity. The censoring alone makes for some funny scenes (but not as good as uncensored ). It's definitely one of my faves, mostly due to all the strange things contained within.

 Ha Ha! Who would've thought that Jack Black would make such an awesome game!?!! I've played it like 2 times, and loved it both times!! It was as the title says.. a BRUTAL LEGEND!!

how ever the game is rather educational when it comes to explain STD's and the different types. also how u can get them too.lol

 

I only took a interest in it after I heard Xbox Live arcade turned it down. After all how many titles do you know that didn't make the cut.lol

Truly you guys forgot the most strangest of them all!

 

The Katamari series!

It's absolutley weird, but the gameplay is fun, the music is strangely catchy, and overall a good video game series!

 

Damn it, you beat me to the punch.  The stories behind the games are wacked out too- the first one?  The King of the Cosmos goes on a drunken bender one night and knocks out all the stars in the sky, so you have to recreate the stars by rolling up these objects of random junk and sending them into the sky.  There's a subplot about some random family that look liek toy figures of some sort , and their astronaut husband's wish to go to the moon. 

 

The second one involves the King of the Cosmos finding out that the first game, Katamari Damacy was a huge hit, so he enlists his son and various cousins to go around and grant wishes for all his fans, Cutscenes between levels show the King's origins. 

 

I don't recall exactly what the plot of Katamari Forever on PS3 was, but I'm positive it was just as weird.  

 

Overall a fantastically fun but very strange game series.

i love the silent hill series for creepyness. the first one is pretty good and the second one is the scariest game EVER!!!

 

but holly clop does silent hill 3 suck. i can't bucking believe it's the one they tried to make a movie from twice!!

 

but oh man silent hill 4 just blows the mind away in creepyness. the entire time you're stuck in your apartment... that's trying to kill you. you can expirience the world around your apartment but you can't interact with it. that is untill giant chasms start appearing in your apartment letting you travel to different locations. or do you. you always end up back in bed and each time you wake up the apartment tries harder and harder to kill you with crazieness up to and including putting a ghost baby by your bed that hurts you just by being in the same room as him

As for strange games, I've been game since the 80's so played a few odd balls in my day.   As surprising as it sounds, one of the "oddest" would probably of been "Echo the Dolphin"  simply because I had no idea what to expect from it. I mean come on, you're a dolphin.  Well if you play it expect your blowhole to be blown off, because that game takes as jarring as a shift in tone as I've ever seen.  

 

Fatal Frame series would be another good one.  Great games the lot of them, but dang if it doesn't mess with you in the head.  Bascially you're a little girl, fighting ghosts that are trying to murder you with a camera.   The plots all have multiple endings, so you can have some really messed up sheeeeet go down.    

 

 

Echo is for Sega so you can just download an emulator and ROM if you wanna play it, gotta own a PS1 or 2 for Fatal Frame.

I'll have to go for No Time to Explain, Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac. Now all 3 of those games were actually entertaining and good games but they were pretty strange in terms of their themes.

 

No Time to Explain is just a load of nonsense going on with some very strange events. I mean the game starts off with a time traveler entering your house before being mauled by a giant crab. Then during the rest of the game he shouts at you while being mauled by various things although it is very, very funny. The voice acting and the guy's various bad puns are hilarious.

 

Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac are made by the same developer and they're both pretty strange although they're both very high up in terms of my favourite games. Super Meat Boy, you're a cube of meat trying to get your girlfriend who's made of bandages from a guy called Doctor Fetus.

 

As for The Binding of Isaac, the whole thing is messed up and I do suggest you go look it up, it's fairly cheap on steam. The art style for both of those games are very...interesting.
