I hate to think this show will end ='[ but I don't think it will end anytime soon. I know asking for like 10 seasons is a lot but judging from the huge fan base I doubt its going anywhere soon. I voted there will be at least 5 seasons maybe a few more. As long as the community stays like it is now they really have no reason to end it soon. As for being staying a Brony well Pony fan for me since I am a girl hehe =D I will always be one forever.

I'll be honest here - as much as I love the show, I don't watch it religiously and keep forgetting every Friday that the next day is pony day. The day the last episode airs (that day will eventually come - it's inevitable) will be a sad day for the fandom, but I'm confident that the legacy it leaves will continue for many more years to come. Fan fiction, fan art, fan games, even fan animation - I don't expect any of it to stop even if the show does.

Being realistic, I don't expect it to last longer than five or maybe six seasons. The amount of creative talent behind FiM is amazing, but I'd rather see the show come to a fantastic finale than see it suffer the fate of Heroes (a really good show for which they just ran out of ideas for, but pushed through with 2 more seasons anyway because of fan demand).

I will continue to keep MLP Forums online as a spot to indulge in ponies and for its community to call home, and I'm sure Equestria Daily won't be going anywhere - how many of their posts are actually about official stuff, anyway? The legacy will live on. :)

I wonder about the G5 thing, myself. I have noticed, though, that everyone who can is doing whatever they can for money's sake. Ever notice the boatload of Disney Movies being remade or remastered or given sequels? I predict that there will be a MLP T.V. series, even if FiM comes to an end. As long as viewer ratings stay up. If someone spots what may be a pattern of decline, however, I wouldn't expect another series. I'm not even sure I would want another.

I don't think I will ever stop being a Brony, even when the show has long since come to an end I will still remember the good old days. If we are lucky the next generation will be fairly high quality (although probably not quite as good as FIM), so that way the Brony tradition could carry on into future generations (like Trekkies and such).

When it comes to how long G4 will last, I would like to believe forever but of course that is impossible. If the creators can keep it quality then I would love to see 8+ seasons, but when the quality starts to tank then it is time to pull the plug. That way we could end it on a good note at least.

With how big the fanbase is, I doubt G4 will be any less than 5 seasons though. If Hasbro can make money off of it, they will not abadon it.

Show? The fandom is giant, should go for a good 6 seasons, I hope more. I hate to have to say it, but eventually all great things come to an end. Me being a brony? I'll ask them to place me in the coffin with a Pinkie plushie. ;)

Yo Applejack...

Y'alright?

I hope it has the longest run possible, but everything ends eventually. When the show does end, it will be sincerely missed, but I would rather celebrate it's existence as opposed to mourning it's loss. And Maybe, just maybe, G5 will be at least half as awesome. And even if it ends third season and G5 sucks, I'm still a brony for life.

I'm planning to stay a fan of the show for the rest of my life. I see no reason for now why that would change.

As for the show's length, I'm hoping for four or five seasons max, preferably...mainly because I'm afraid if it goes any longer, the quality will nosedive. With four or five seasons, they could go out in a blaze of glory with a wonderfully large final episode with all sorts of funtatstic adventures, the CMCs getting their Cutie Marks, and all kinds of things like that.

Hopefully they will end the show on a high note. You wouldn't want Hasbro to drag the show past way it's prime like Fox is doing with The simpsons now would ya?

I hope it the show lasts as long as possible with out the quality going down. I'll be a brony for life, I plan on rambling on about ponies to young people when I'm old. I dont a clue what G5 will be like, probably not as good as FIM but I guess only time will tell. :)

If there is a G5 it should be about Scootaloo, Applebloom and sweetiebell. And they would be the new elements of harmony along with 3 other ponies. that probably won't happen... But I wish it would.

I honestly wonder if there will even be a G5. When I was a kid, I thought G3 or whatever I collected was the best. Obviously I was proven wrong. If there are people out there who could possibly best G4, I say give it a shot one day. I'll probably end up still being a G4 fan; just because it's over doesn't mean you have to lose interest.

I honestly think that if the show dies, it will be at the fault of Hasbro. They will either have some financial problem with staff or loose voice actors or creative writers. The fanbase itself would never die.

The way I see it, the HUB will keep it going as long as there is money.

They will probably pump this thing out my the end of the fifth season.

But then I think they'll keep it going to the seventh.

By then, I figure the whole community will get tired of the sloppy writing, over-used jokes, and new voice-cast (it's inevitable...7 seasons is a long time to keep a voice cast.)

HUB will try to make amends by promising "something new!" and a "REBOOT!" leading into the eighth season (which is really all about the terrible new characters they added during the slump of new ideas.) That will be the last season, and it will end short.

Deep down, my heart thinks the show will stay strong forever... But sadly my brain is telling me otherwise.

But what do I know? I'm just a stupid kid.

Exactly what I think. I mean, if they like.. Have another voice actor for example Twilight Sparkle, I don't know how long I would stand that.

Well, the Powerpuff Girls lasted a full 6 seasons, not to mention a few movies and TV specials, I can definitely see the same thing happening with MLP: FIM since not only do the developers go out of their way to actually listen to the community, but also know how to make good stuff happen. Lol. Since this show's popularity is also expanding by the week, it could very well last into at least 2014-15.

Well, it's been 18 years since SatAM was cancelled, and it still has a fanbase. So I'd say there's a good chance there'll still be fans after the series is over.
