I don't find 4chan to be mind-numbing, and I'm most definitely not cynical.

 

A certain mindset is needed to browse 4chan, but it's hard to describe. I don't think one needs to be cynical, though.

Cynicism is a must as a safety measure. There have been too much of a case where newbies took everything at face value in that site and end up whining elsewhere.

Picard is my favorite captain, but I like the TNG movies far more than the TNG show.

 

I also actually liked Voyager, despite its major flaws, and Enterprise was also an amazing show. Had a whole different vibe. Archer was awesome.

Bleh, I've never watched the TOS series. Seen most of the movies. I just really don't like the cast. The lore hadn't evolved to anything scientifically feasible in that time.
