Fun fact. It's my second attempt in watching it. 48 hours earlier, the power kept going out in our theater, so I never finished it first time around.

"League of Gods", a rather weird movie. It is a science fiction-influenced retelling of the Chinese novel, "Fengshen Yanyi", in which gods and demons fight during the fall of the Shang Dynasty of what appears to be a desert-filled ancient China.

Suicide Squad -  Yet another disappointing entry in the DCEU for me. Will Smith and Margot Robbie were great, but the editing was terrible, Jared Leto's Joker was barely in the movie and didn't fo it for me, and the villain was a joke. But unlike Batman V Superman and Man Of Steel, I at least had fun with it. 5 out of 10.

 

It seems like outside of Civil War, Finding Dory, and Star Trek Beyond, Summer 2016 has been pretty disappointing.
