One of those iconic movies. Need to watch again, I think it's in a 'to do' pile somewhere.

The new Mummy movie… a huge downgrade from the old ones. Although I shouldn’t be that surprised. 1/10. I will say through, I would rather choose “goth” mummy chick, become a pact with her and  conquer the world together anytime. :proud: .  What? I have a type okay?

The Cutting Edge (1992): I’ve seen this movie many times and usually start off my winter viewing schedule with it. It delivered as always. A fun movie with a good story.

Elf (2003): Another early season staple. Not brilliant by any means, and Will Ferrell is a desperate comic at the best of times, but it has enough charm here and there to keep it on my viewing list.

Braven (2018): Jason Momoa in an action movie set in a snowy climate. That’s all I needed to fit it into my line-up. It delivers as a mid-level actioner.

Whiteout (2009): If you’re in the mood for a cold, snowy setting, this movie is for you. It takes place in an Antarctic research station where a Federal Marshal (Kate Beckinsale) has to solve some grizzly crimes.

Pretty sure the last thing I watched was The Exorcist a little while ago, also because the new one sucks so bad that I'd rather watch the first one instead, you just can't beat it.

Godzilla Minus One - Not only is this an amazing Godzilla movie, it's also one of the best movies of 2023. An emotional war drama that just so happens to feature a giant monster. 10 out of 10.

Barbie: lots of cringy moments that just rubs me in a wrong way. To back up my reason,  I had gone through  gender identity crisis in my early years due to “stereotypes” and this movie just personally triggered me. Aside from that I do enjoy the fun aspect of “Barbie” by itself without all that genders identity bullshit. 6/10

I watched "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" yesterday. A movie I used to be absolutely terrified of as a kid because of how uncanny the Whos looked with their weird masks and makeup. Along with the fact that the movie was weirdly dark lighting wise, especially for a Christmas movie. All that combined was enough to scare 8 year old me.

Now? Eh. It's not a great movie by any means but it's a decent watch I guess. It's still a pretty ugly movie, just not terrifying to me now lol. I will say that Jim Carrey kinda carries the whole movie, as you might expect. If not for him I feel like this movie would've been forgotten about a long time ago.
