I have the game on steam, but I'm looking for someone with hallowed, frozen, and corrupt keys to trade with for a Temple Key (either I can give the key or Use it to unlock the Jungle Temple). I just used my old character without armor, drax, and hammer I had before so I made the basic tools from Fresh to the new world and What I left intact as my mirror, potions, accessories, Excalibur, Dirt and Ice Rod, Megashark, and Flamethrower.

I bought it on Steam the other day when it was only 2 bucks. I haven't played it yet, but I plan on playing it for the first time tomorrow when I have some free time before/after school. I hope it's fun!

I'm no gamer, but Terraria is one of the two games I play most often nowadays.

I love the new update so much, but who doesn't?

I'll probably join a server if you start one, and I'll probably use my strongest character. I can't say whether or not he is a Mage, Ranger, or Warrior, because I don't play that way.

I play Terraira too, but I haven't really gotten very far into the update (started a fresh world and character) I still have my old end game items and character with admantuim (ect), and If you start a server I will probably use that. Steam name is Danzxc123.

I love terraria I've had it since it came out but the only friend I have has this bad habit of cheating items in which is kinda annoying my Steam is Fluzzly (i'm the one with a batpony avatar )  if you wanna play sometime

I play Terraria. Recently, my friends wanted me to start running the server again so I figured they wanted to play. So I decided to play by myself and I ended up with a few endgame stuff when they weren't even ready for hardmode, so I've just been playing solo. Nonononono. I've never played Terraria and it's not like I've spent the past week playing it nonstop trying to make mob farms and stuff just so I could open the Dungeon chests and get the legendary weapons inside of them, such as the Vampire Knives and the Rainbow Gun.

 

On the other hand, I heard that there's an NPC called Party Girl that was inspired by Pinkie Pie. And there's a pet turtle that really looks like Tank. Even the way they fly is the same!

I have that pet turtle, and it does carry a strong resemblance to Tank. Mainly, when the turtle follows you around, it flies with helicopter rotors.

I believe you obtain Party Girl by having at least 5 other NPCs. She'll come if you have 5 NPCs and a 6th house. Not sure though, might want to check the wiki. I know it has to do with having x number of NPCs.

it's 8 NPCs and a 9th house sounds really hard to get though I'm not sure how many NPCs they added in 1.2 hopefully theres abunch I want to get pinkie pie asap

 

PS: Did you know bats dropped depth meters?

The Pinkie Pie npc takes forever to move in, and she (like all of the other npcs) and up dieing in eclipses... XD

 

Then you have to wait again.

Lots of people think that this game is just a rip off of minecraft and is a crap Game

 

Well i think this game is a masterpiece and it so fun and amazing to play

 

 

For the truth: I think this game is better then Minecraft, I know minecraft is better with building things and stuff like that but i just love how this game has lots of things to do and so manys Monsters and bosses

Just a quick heads up that I merged both of your topics with this one as it has been around for longer and covered the same subject matter.

 

 

That being said, I love Terraria! Or used to anyway. I played a lot before 1.1 came out, then stayed gone throughout 1.1, and have been messing with 1.2 a bit. Haven't done a whole lot though sadly.

Well, just 7 more days until we have a whole lot of new stuff added - again. Usually the Halloween updates are pretty big in those games, and I heard that this update will have the final endgame boss. It's something to do with the Moon, like a lunar boss or something. NightmareMoon

I've already posted, but I remember something hilarious that happened in one of my worlds. I got the Dryad to arrive, and almost cheered when I saw her name: Celestia

I'm owning on my hardcore mode world. I just found plantera's bulb and I plan on defeating that thing. Loving the new 1.2 update.

I saw several friend of mine playing it the other day and decided to get it, and it's not a choice that I regret. I've already put in almost 160 hours in two weeks, and enjoyed most of it. Some of the boss fights can get irritating, but the drops are worth.

 

If anyone owns or knows a public terraria server I'd love to join one :3 I host my own, but that's private through 

hamachi whenever I'm on.

 

I'm also very excited to see what comes in 1.3
