I don't have a Best Friend :o

No really. I don't.

Most of my friends I haven't been on the best terms with them recently.

I'm adapted to this, as there was a point I felt I had no friends at all.

That is one reason that MLP appeals to me, actually. I feel that my best friends are on the screen.

My best friend is something that could never hurt me, it cant say I'm wrong.. it cant leave me for someone else, it cant just say I'm a bad pony and never speak to me again, its something I have been friends with since I was 17years old and its name is..

Very resistant to consider her my bestfriend, since she never talks to me and continues being friends with somebody who's very existence gives me nightmares. We live about 30 miles away and I just, don't know. I'd say I didn't have a bestfriend but then I feel guilty because she still calls me hers.

I don't talk to anyone I knew in High School. It's a point of principle at this point. So my best friend is from college. That said, I met my best friend just over a decade ago.

Everyone I might consider a close friend is far, far away, and I never see them. This is mostly due to the navy shipping me away all over the world, but I'm not really allowed to take leave, for some reason, so I never see them at all. A phone call or an email is all I get.

My bro is a bro. He is not bromantic, and neither am I. He was my second college roommate, and my first drinking buddy. We did all kinds of things together: fencing, drinking, dagorhir (so nerdy), costuming, hitting on the same women (he usually came out ahead because I was terribly awkward), and even writing. We even had our own tabletop game system fleshed out to completeness.

Then I went home and he stayed. When he came back home (the next suburb over), I went to the Navy, with only about a year between.

I have similar stories for almost all of my friends, none of whom I ever see anymore.

My best friend is also my spouse (Dreaming Pink3 here on the forums). I've known her just over 13 years. We became the best of friends very quickly, and it developed into being a couple rather fast too. I would definitely trust her with anything.

I used to have a super big best friend that I was friends with most of elementary and all of middle, but after 7 or 8 years or so, she got too influenced and distant to have any interests or likings to me or the things I liked anymore... I kinda still have that hollow feeling when she stopped caring about me.

But for now, I have two great, super kind, supportive best friends that I relate to on great levels. Sure, they can't take jokes or are too sensitive just like typical girls are, but they're my sisters, and I'll love em' forever.

I've known my best friends for about two years now, and we're practically soul mates in the non-romantic way.

Sadly, she moved to another country this year, and I miss her quite a bit... But there's still a chance that she might move back, which I really hope that she will.

And yeah, I would trust her with anything, even my life. We've had a chat about that too, so I'm sure that she feels the same way smile.png

i have like, 3 best friends, but there is only one that i share everything with.
I've known one since the second i was born, not even kidding. he was in the room when i came to life, he still means the world to me and will always be my friend.
the other one i met when i moved for the first time, but time went past and he changed into something he used to make fun off, i love him, but i dont really trust him as much as i used to.
The one i trust the most have i known since i was 3, even though he is the youngest of all my friends, he is the one i trust the most.
Why?
well since i have known him since he was 1, i had a big part of his childhood, we have almost everything in common, every thought, opinion, morals and such, i dont even call him for a friend anymore, he is more like my brother c:

My best friend is Katie....she goes to my school and she's basically my sister. At least I consider her my sister since we're so close. She tells me most of what goes on in her life and I do the same. We stick up for each other and despite it being hard for me to keep secrets she's still always there for me. I love her to death in a friendship kinda way and I have no idea where'd I be without her. She acted like my wake up call and she's one of the reasons why I'm so happy lately. e9FkmL5.png

Friend? What is this friend you speak of?

In all seriousness, I haven't had a "best friend" since 2nd grade when my best friend moved away.

I've known my best friend (Ryan) for the last 8 years, and we have been hanging out almost every weekend since.  While he can be a little bit of a dick sometimes he is still a great friend, and even though me and him are complete polar opposites we have remained inseparable since the 2nd grade.

I’ve known my best friend for a few years now...and he’s always been there for me, is very supportive, funny, always finds a way to cheer me up. I feel like I can trust him with just about anything and everything. He even saved my relationship with my boyfriend for crying out loud. :adorkable:

In my eyes, he’s the real deal.

Is it okay if I have the same best friend, even though I've only known him for like 2 weeks and before that I hated him?:adorkable:

I don't even think I have a best friend right now. I have plenty of good friends, but I just don't feel like there is any best friend right now. I wish that could change.

Plenty of people online I call friends. But alas, I don't have anyone that I call a best friend. Last couple of best friends I had were years ago. But time turned them into different people and they made new friends and we just ended up drifting a part. The friendships didn't end on bad terms, they just seemed to fade regardless of how much we socialised. I suppose my cat would be my best friend right now. Even if that makes me sound like a crazy cat lady. :P

My best friend of all time is one of my co-workers. She started at the same place about a year after me and we hit it off instantly. It was like we already knew each other forever. We can tell each other anything, count on each other for anything and we’ve always got each other’s back. She held down my job for me when I was on medical leave a couple years ago and she even introduced me to my hubby. I honestly love her more than words can describe and I consider her my soul sister for life.

6 years later and... I still don't really have a best friend unless my boyfriend counts, but I've only known him for what? 2 and a half months? :twi: I got some close friends in high school, but I have only seen one since... That was still about 2 years ago though and all that happened was a quick hi and bye when I ran into her at the dollar store. :mlp_wat: She actually asked me out one day at school... Of course I had to reject because I never really liked girls like that. Nonetheless, she and I actually had a kind of awkward but close friendship.

Though, I guess there is one friend I have that could qualify for this. She helped me through some pretty hard times I had before I met the man I love, and she's still very much there for me. I trust her with much more than I've trusted anyone else. She's been a friend of my dad's for a solid decade now, though he treats her like $#!+... :dry:Nonetheless, I consider her and her family to be my second family, even if I hardly say a word to most of them. :sealed:

I have two best friends, one that lives in my same country that taught me a lot of things and he accepted me as his pupil, and another one that lives on the USA right now and although he is younger than me and learned the same way I learned with my frist BF, this one has a kid and is already married

to these two I trust my life with.

I've known my best friend for almost 13 years now. She was the very first friend I made when I moved down here, as my dad briefly rented out her family's basement before we found a proper place. We were sad when I was moving out, thinking we would never see each other again, but then not only did we end up in the same elementary school, but in the very same class as well! And then the same thing happened in middle school, meaning we were in the same class for 10 full years in a row.

She's been a big help for me, and I'm very thankful for her. I've had speaking problems for most of my life, and I've never been very good at socializing, so she's helped me out a lot. She's been by my side so I wouldn't be alone, she's been my partner on many projects and when we had a presentation, she would do the speaking and I got to just help out with all the other stuff. But most importantly she would always step up and speak for me when I was too scared to in class.

I'm so grateful that even now, 3 years after we were separated when we chose different high schools, and now that I have a job and she has school that keeps us both busy, we still keep in touch and try to find time to be with each other. We are about as different as night and day, but we still have loads of fun together.

She's now been accepted into this fancy dancing school on the other side of the country, so I think we're both excited to see how that's gonna work out, but I hope we'll still be able to find time to visit each other.
