Was I the only one who looked at the title and thought this would be one of those "not-for-real" thingys where they just goof around and make something really bad and treat it like the greatest thing since sliced bread?

 

Regardless, this was a pleasant surprise. The video was very nice and the effects were nice. But they vocals were beautiful and captured a lot of emotion in them. She showed a good progression from Luna to Nightmare Night in her vocals. They could use a bit more depth in certain point, but it's forgivable.

It is a cover, originally by ponyphonic, but nonetheless, this is still just as equally amazing as the original. (In fact, I like it better than the original to be honest)

Best PMV I've ever heard, honestly. I'm very picky at music, but I like this one. I will search for more things like this in the fandom. Nice composition, and the vocal is amazing, simply said. The most important thing: IT'S NOT DUBSTEP.

Personally, I kind of prefer the original version to this cover.

 

I mean, yeah, it was sung by a guy, but to my (admittedly entirely amateurish) ears, his performance had a greater range and more emotion.

 

Or, perhaps I simply prefer the instrumental of the original, dunno, as I say I am by no means a music critic.

 

But, even if I prefer the original, this cover was still REALLY good, and the Music Video itself was well done.

I guess It's just what we prefer. For me, I live off of sad, emotional songs. You have a taste in metal, so It's completely understandable that you find softer like this to be decidedly okay.

Hey now, I enjoy listening to The Smiths every once in a while. I LOVE The Smiths in fact. So there's need to raise assumptions. I do enjoy listening to metal a lot, but I do enjoy other genres as well.

It's pretty good I guess, good enough to earn my brohoof anyways. Not the greatest thing I've ever heard, I have extensive experience with "sad" and "emotional" songs, basically half of what I listen to. Stuff like Fleetwood mac, Snow Patrol, Cold Play, Smashing Pumpkins, you know stuff like that. It gets a B for a grade from me, good but definitely room for improvement. Hehe me and my oh so mighty opinions, who do I think I am?

Wow this is really beautiful. The vocalist in this song has a beautiful voice. And the impression of Nightmare moon, I swear i thought it was her for real...
