Would you be an Alicorn or a Unicorn?

this is my very first topic. Okay would you be a alicorn or a unicorn? Me I would be a alicorn. I would work on magic and flying. Alicorn or unicorn

I'd choose Alicorn definitely, without even having to think about it - why only go with magic when you could have magic and flight!

Well because I feel that a Unicorn is a more realistic scenario i'd become a Unicorn, because I think in order to be an Alicorn you'd have to be born into royalty. Or become royalty.

 

Physically speaking of course Alicorns are superior though.

It's sad but I'm happy as a unicorn. It would be great to fly, but the ground is my home. The magic is still pretty kick butt by the way. Maybe some day I'll just make myself some fake wings and try the flight just for a bit.

I'd be happy to be a unicorn. Because think about it: you'd be swarmed by ponies when you're a alicorn, and you have tons of royal duties to attend to. So you can't really have fun. So I'd be a unicorn.

To be honest I would be both...One of the first (Or first) Hybrids. Why? Because being normal, just is not my thing..Although ponyvillie may, or may not like the idea of a hybrid...

But you forgot that all alicorns have a good magic You can hide your wings with it, and easily be treated as unicorn.

 

However it's hardly possible to be alicorn - for other things that i know all known alicorns have some responsobilities, and THIS isn't fun at all =) So going to stay as i do - a unicorn

Bleh, I'll have unicorn. I prefer to be firmly planted on the ground, flying would just make me sick. Plus it is probably a pain to fly with wings so small in relation to your whole body.

an alicorn is pretty much an unattainable goal. That said, i would still prefer being just a unicorn.

Alicorns are celebrities. They would be known and followed everywhere.
A unicorn is just another face in the crowd and free to pursue a life away from constant scrutiny.

I would rather be a unicorn since, it would take a while for me to get used to the wings. Besides, I don't really think wings and a unicorn horn are a good combination. Unless you can count Cadence, Luna, and Celestia.

If given the choice, I would go with unicorn. Alicorns just seem too overpowered to me. This may sound weird, but I would like to have some sort of weakness, but also have a strength to cover that weakness. The unicorn's weakness is that it doesn't have wings, so it can't fly. It's strength is magic, which covers the flying weakness. With an alicorn, you have both wings and a horn, so you can fly and use magic. There isn't really a weakness there.

I'd been toying with the idea of my OC's alternate form being an incidental alicorn, Father Pegasi, Mother Unicorn, not any more powerful than either, and certainly not a princess. But it would fit in with the fact that she just rather be a normal pony.

If I had to pick I would choose unicorn because unicorns are already over powered as is because unicorn can use magic to make then selfs fly, levitation spells are a must for any unicorn, as you saw by the baby cakes episode
