Nonetheless, wanting to be cool and fit in with the rest of the devianters, I picked up my touchscreen laptop and my stylus, and freehanded something :I

I failed.

I suppose it can only get better, right?

it's pretty good for a 30 minute work. I've drawn my fair share of ponies, and 30 minutes may sound simple at first, but it's soon realized that 30 minutes is close to no time for detail. I like the drawing, however. Good job :3

          Now I wouldn't say this to be a failure, I actually find this quite a successful little piece you've got here! 30 minute challenges are a great way to gauge what you remember and can do within a constricting environment. There will be times where an artist won't have as much time as they'd like such as when drawing a still life, a portrait of an individual or a commission online. So you made a few mistakes here and there, just take note of them and remember to cover those little tidbits next time

Honestly, that is quite an adorable little drawing you have of your OC although there is one thing, she looks like she got a bit hammered (which may not be a bad thing ) but otherwise, I really like it

That's better than I could do in an hour! and you did it in 30 minutes, well done, you shoulld be proud, it didn't fail (in my opinion). Anyways if you still think it did then you know what, no-pony's perfect, practice makes perfect though!

Btw, I am a bit of an artist, but I'm quite young! so I couldn't draw as well as that! (BTW, I'm not like 6)

One of my favorite forum artists is 2 years younger than I am... She's 15  think, and is wayyy better than I am Age has nothing to do with it. It has to do with dedication, time, and skill 3 things I don't have enough of xD

That's good. :3 I can't do the thirty minute challenge since it takes me that much time to color it since I'm a perfectionist. So it takes a lot of erasing and often takes a whole day to make a drawing.
