Hi everypony, I'm kinda new to the site and decided to start here because, well, I'm REALLY big on League x)

I main ADC, LOVE champs like Vayne, Cait, and Kog, and I'm not too bad at jungle and mid. I used to play nothing but Anivia, but that changed the moment I got good with Caitlyn

So, could somepony guide me as to how this thread works and such? I could really use a helping hoof x)

As a mid main, it's delightfully fun to take your squishy carries and melt them in the blast furnace that is the current assassin meta. Anyway, I've discovered that I absolutely CAN'T play at night... Seriously...

this thread is just for general league related discussion, feel free to talk about champions, games you've had, get advice, add people etc.

I main draven and have been playing him for about a year now. he's certainly the most fun champion in my opinion and really satisfying to play. Aatrox does ALOT of damage when built right. hes quite frightening

Just had the weirdest game ever... Someone insta-locked annie, and so I was in a duo mid... I was then surprised to see that the enemy had decided that they needed a 3 man mid. We got a quick first blood off of them, then the game started getting strange... Though half our team had ping best measured in seconds, we still managed to hold into the game, and I discovered that glass cannon lichbane Ziggs is a monster against towers... I could take down a quarter of one in one auto-attack.

Hey, if anyone's still trying to make it into gold (or just excel hard in ranked) I'm down for supporting you if you're an ADC. I have the most fun Lulu and Soraka. I'm tired of yolo-queue carries... Of course, Soraka can carry those type of folk by making them a god, but I never know when I'll need to use her because I'm often not aware of my partner's skill/experience in the ADC role. Shoot me a message if you're interested!

And i actually won!

 

Of course.. Its 1 game, and i only have 49 LP in silver 4 so.... yeah.

Haha, yeah, i doubt that ;p. I'd be lucky to get to silver 3 by the end of the season. Especially since i'm to busy to play a ton of ranked. 

 

plus i don't think i'm quite good enough for gold, i frankly don't consider myself even that good for bronze or silver.

I've wanted to start playing him (and the support role in general) for some time now, and I thought this would be the best place to ask for some advice. At the moment, I main ADC with a mix of jungle, and I'm not new to the concept of supporting. I pretty much play by the textbook- I ward in the right places, harass, keep my carry safe, drop exhaust, pretty much everything you'd expect in a support, but I'm just not that great at playmaking. I'm already a pretty good Janna and a half-decent Nami, and I'm looking to expand my support pool (Alistar, as mentioned above). Any advice would be appreciated!

He's not a really good champ. He's a great tank, but if you're playing support, he will be majorly lacking. His pop up is good, but there are just much better picks.

So I join solo queue for Summoner's Rift, call top, pick nasus, don't lock because instalocking is lame. All seems well.

 

Then one of our team says "no, 5 supports guys. lets do it"

 

 

 

And it must actually have been yolo queue, because all 5 of us random people who don't know each other at all did it. And to make matters even better, the enemy team saw us derping around and decided to all build the exact same thing, regardless of who they were playing. Most fun I've had in a long time

I wouldn't say it's a BAD idea to completely switch champions, but I would definitely say to try before you buy and give yourself time to learn a champ before you totally discount them. Try to find yourself a champ you like, and if you think they're worth buying then buy them.

By looking at the match history of the person who friend requested me, I think it was you... As such, I have 2 suggestions. You'll want to start playing against other people as soon as possible, and you shouldn't waste IP on runes till level 20, that's when they're actually worth it.

I'll try playing against people more (The only reason I've really just played against bots is because I worry about people thinking I'm bad at the game)

 

And as for runes, I'll wait to get more until level 20 then start getting more
