Looking at the champions you had, it would look that Shen would have worked as the perfect meatshield for your Koggy. Anivia's Wall could have also been used to zone him out of the enemy team, except for Diana. Also, why didn't Koggy build a Quicksilver Sash versus a strong Mordekaiser?

 

With a Frozen Heart. Interesting choice for Morde, I gotta admit.

 

Koggy actually had a QSS whenever his GA was down so that the Morde ult wouldn't kill him, even though a couple of times the Morde ulted me instead.

 

Also, Anivia was horrible with her wall and ended up zoning out our Nunu and Shen more often than he zoned out the enemy team, and since Shen would have already ulted into the teamfight on top of Koggy and burned his taunt he was basically out of the fight.

 

You lost too a Morde that built Frozen heart... The words cannot be found on this day, please leave a message after the tone.

 

I don't even know, man. All I know is that the jerk was too damn tanky for anybody but Koggy to take down in a reasonable amount of time at that point, and since Koggy kept dying before that happened, well...yeah. At least I could take down their squishtastic Ashe most of the time, and sometimes even their Diana!

As you can see, it was pretty much a walk in the park. Woo~

Well, from what I've seen, Heimerdinger does really good shutting down the mid. He's in the medium price range...

 

If not, Cassiopeia, Zyra, or Malzahar do pretty good.

Yeah,I've got Malhazar I find it hard to land a majority of his skills but other than that he's pretty good.

I'll look into buying Cass.She seems really fun.

Yeah, she is VERY fun to play. You just absolutely HAVE to land her skills though. If you miss, it could cost you the fight or engagement.

 

She is very good at chasing champs, killing minions, and escaping. She's pretty squishy and it's kind of hard to manage her mana, even with her passive.

 

Despite all that, I would reccommend buying her and trying her out.

Well, LeBlanc is mid-range and absolutely stomps most mids. Yeah, you fall off late-game unfortunately, but that's due to a lack of AOE - you still nuke the hell out of squishies.

 

Karthus is another option, if you like to have a so-so laning phase at best for an absolutely godlike late game.

Depends what you're looking for. Both Annie and Ryze are exceptional mids, but Annie is mostly farm and Ryze can just combo people into oblivion.

 

1350 - Fiddlesticks is a good mid, quite fun too and if mid gets lost or won you can wander and gank really well if planned correctly. Zilean can mid fairly effectively, but imo he's still better support.

Morgana is a fantastic mid but again mostly farms. her Q+R combo is DEVESTATING as soon as you hit 6, so I take advantage of that(also helps when a vlad sanguine pools into you and then you combo his face in.)

Twisted Fate is another awesome mid and can do quite a bit of damage with his Q alone. He can also sustain very effectively with mana.

Veigar requires Q farming to be good, but he's another fantastic champ and can easily hypercarry.

Cho'gath is a situational mid, but is quite fun on top and jungle. Cho' can mid and has fantastic sustain as long as you can keep them from bursting you to oblivion.

 

3150- Karma I've seen her in mid before, but I don't have her, couldn't say.

Leblanc counters and facerolls quite a few mids, just be wary of her counters she can't do anything about.

Lux is an awesome mid and her shield can prevent some burst combos from going off. Only problem is her autoattack bonus from passive requires you to get closer range(or just use ulti and make the bonus proc that way.)

Akali is another fairly situational mid

Mordekaiser is again situational but is a great asset to the team.

Katarina was a fantastic mid, not sure about after the recent rework though.

Heimer is THE lane pusher for mid. He's all early game, get that early tower and stuff like that.

Gragas looks absolutely fantastic for a mid as he's naturally tanky and can still burst, allowing you to just get AP items and still survive some punishment. He's also very difficult to learn.

Kassadin is a great AP mid counter, but again if he gets countered he's trash.

Sona can be overpowered if you can land her pokes in and the power chord right, but is more often support.

Karthus is a great mid, has a ton of power and can hypercarry so well. he's great for farming, getting dragon and baron, and also tower diving. His ulti can turn the tides of battle.

Anivia is an absolutely deadly mid and is my main. If you can learn how to play her(as she is extremely difficult to play) then you can do extremely well in mid.

 

4800- Orianna is a great mid due to her ball and repositioning it everywhere. It's a mobile ward sometimes and she can poke very well too.

Swain is a very good mid, but has very big counters. His naturally slight tankiness and ulti allow him to sustain for a very long while.

Kennen is another great mid and can assassinate effectively due to his stunning capabilities. His poke can be lacking, but if you can get the upper hand on most champs you can stomp them into the ground.

Malzahar I haven't played much but from what I've seen he is another mid that is way up there in awesomeness. his pool-nethergrasp combo will melt any one of the enemy champs except the tank, and even he goes away with a limp.

 

6300- Zyra is getting nerfed atm, but she's got a lot of utility. Her plants, snare, and knockup from ulti allow her to assassinate champs effectively and she's got great initiation and counterinitiation. Her plants allow her to ward without having to buy wards and she can poke very well.

Ziggs is skillshot-heavy and can hurt if he's fed. I haven't seen many good Ziggs out there but he is quite fun to play. He can also Dynamite-jump(jump over walls with dynamite like a boss)

Viktor is a great mid EXCEPT for the fact that he starts with an item. He's great early game, but once that 1 slot missing comes into effect, he becomes less and less useful.

Ahri is a great assassin, high mobility powerful attacks, good initiation and chase, and can poke hard. She's also lots of fun. She's just not as useful in teamfights because she only has 1 ability that can hit the entire team, although she could sneak up from behind and charm the enemy AD carry or AP carry.

Fizz is a really strong mid and can do quite a number on multiple mids. If he's counterpicked, though, you're in huge trouble.

Xerath is an exceptional mid for 2 reasons;he's tanky and his passive gives him more armor/AP. His locus of power can allow you to poke from ridiculously long range and he can also sting quite a bit if he hits.

Talon is a fantastic counterpick and can do huge damage on multiple mids, but if a tanky mid comes up then he might as well give up before he starts getting stomped.

Brand is a great mid, has one of the longest ranged pokes in the game, and combos really well. He can pick off team members and stun them or just hit them all for massive damage. I did manage to get 1000 AP as brand in a game(3 AA staffs, 1 Rabs, Sorc shoes, WotA) and I just couldn't be stopped. I'd combo the entire team and the tank even felt sorry for himself.

Cassiopeia is a great mid and can combo very well. Sadly, I'm not that good with her, but she's a fun mid to play and is quite good in most scenarios.

Watching my brother and his friends try to play Sprixx, Blink, Toast, Eavath, Razor.

 

My brother is General Mason. His friend is Leviathyn. I can't say I'm rooting for either side. Normally I would root for Sprixx, since my bro is a bit of a d.... Sometimes, but due to some.... Background I don't care to go into, this is a bit of a grudge match. Anyway, good luck to both sides.

Post game report; bot lane got shattered, Eveath's Ryse is strong, Leona called full tank and couldn't tank a Soraka Q, Razor got fed, Varus sucked big time, Leviathyn did alright, my brother got rot stomped by Sprixx's ult. GG close match considering.

They fed Nasus. They. Fed. Nasus. GG no re. Also, fed Jarvan to trap them and utterly destroy them along with the fed Nasus, fed Ryze to go Ryze-mode on them, and a Corki that also blew things up.

 

If you notice something about this teamcomp, though, it's that EVERYBODY has a form of shred: Nasus has his e, Jarvan has his Q, Corki has his Gatling Gun(don't remember the key exactly), Ryze has his E, and Soraka has her Q. Thus, we were just shredding through all of their resistances so that they basically didn't have any, and thus stomped them in teamfights.

Sorry Blink, I wasn't paying attention to top lane. I was watching my brother jungle, and he normally didn't gang your lane as far as I could see. They did let you free farm. No offense dude, but you did some stupid stuff, although I don't know if it was as silly as It looked from my end of the map or not. Anyway, I do stupid stuff all the time, so why am I talking?

Oh also, if you want characters specifically to your playstyle just give me an idea and I'll tell you good choices. If you like massive burst damage, try out Anivia, Gragas, Leblanc, Ryze, Veigar, Xerath, or Zyra.
