I personally wish I could play Monster Hunter games, but I don't have the time to dedicate myself to a game like that, and I don't even have a system for the game.

I also wish I could play all Metal Gear games, but I don't have the games nor consoles.

I just bought Harvest Moon on the WiiU so i can't say that...

Hmm, maybe Little Big Planet? I do have the game but i want to play it with others so i can get the full experience.

 

Also Monster Hunter. I tried the demo on 3DS and i was disappointed in the game. 

Gonna try it for the WiiU soonish.

I wish that I would play the early Battlefield 4 beta, but sadly EA decides that you have to be either a premium member or be invited to play the beta. I wouldn't mind playing a game early before the public release.

I sincerely wish I could play The Last of Us, but I just don't have money to splash out on a PS3 specifically to play it. I'm still avoiding spoilers for it even though I'm probably never going to play it in my lifetime :3

 

A friend of mine also showed me an MS-DOS computer game emulator for those old computer classics, but the games keep crashing when I try and load them. I'll try and get around to that

Damn, finally a thread for me.
I only own a gaming computer and my DS, my PS2 is kinda dead.
I'm gonna start with what i really desire for:
Kingdom Hearts 3D
I would give my life to play it, i can't afford a 3DS, i can't emulate it either. KH is my favorite series, i finished every game except CoM and this one, i can't miss it, and i probably will.
Now, moving on in the list of the games i can wait for:

I have most game systems made, from Odyssey to preorder of PS4 and XBOX One. I have every common system and some not common ones and about 1400 games (not roms). I am compelled to buy every new special edition game. But I haven't played a game in over a year. I am too busy with work and other stuff. The last game I played was Dead Island, and I didn't finish it.

 

I wish I had time to play any game. If I could pick, I'd finish the Resident Evil games, then maybe do the Elder Scroll series.

I would love to be able to play CoD, Battlefield, and Halo online at home, but sadly, my home internet lags way too much much for this to be possible. My ping is over 700 (because I'm stuck with shitty satellite "broadband") at all times, which makes for quite a miserable gaming experience. I also live in a semi-rural area in the U.S., so that only makes things worse internet-wise. I've searched high and low to see what was available where I live, but so far, I can't find any reasonably priced ISP.

 

Anyone else feel my pain?

 

Oh, I'd also like to play Gmod, Red Orchestra 2, and TF2, but I can't afford a good gaming PC.

I would like to play Pikmin 3 on the Wii U but sadly I must wait until next year to get the Wii U, when I'll have my own apartment.  Also, I really want to play Ni No Kuni but I failed to find any other PS3 games that interest me and with the PS4 coming, I feel like it'd be a bad choice to get one (even if the PS4 is not backward compatible...).  I mean, it makes me think of the Dark Cloud series, something I miss really much (get on it Level 5 please).

Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate for the Nintendo DS or Wii U.  I have been a fan of the Monster Hunter series ever since 2006.  Too bad I don't have any decent income for console gaming.  Hopefully Capcom will release Monster Hunter Frontier out West in the near future.

Since not playing most games in the last ten years is pretty much remedied purely by making money and spending on the system to play it or game I'll go with games that I will not in my life be able to play due to them not being made, being cancelled or language barriers and region locking.

 

1. There was this Negima party fighting game for Wii that was only released in Japan. I don't care how simple it was, as a fan of the series I would have loved it simply because it was for that anime.

 

2. Wild Arms 6. While there is no actual word on whether the WA series is done or not since the creators have been working on other series' but there hasn't been a game since Wild Arms XF (pronounced Crossfire) on PSP in 2009. I'm still holding out hope as they have not said anything about the series being finished. I still need to get WA5 and the remake of WA1 though.

 

3. I remember hearing once that someone made a mod that literally remade the entire world of Oblivion into a totally different game. I don't think I could run TESIV on my new laptop even if it has proven to be decently powerful. Someday I'll have a gaming PC.

 

4. Star Ocean: Blue Sphere. Not many people seem to know this game exists but it was a bonafied sequel to Star Ocean 2, taking place about two years later I believe, and released on Gameboy Color. It was never released outside of Japan.

Fallout: NV. Haven't played it since my uncle moved to a new apartment. Having Soccer parents, I can't buy it myself.

Indeed I do. With my god-awful internet, I remember being able to play Halo 1 PC online years ago...sometimes. Usually, I'd lag out of a game. Everything else, it never was possible. I think that's a big part of why I only play single player games (or never touch the multiplayer section, anyway). I never had the ability to play online.
