Ponies Enslaving The Human Race...

Have ever read fan fiction where the Ponies enslave Humanity? Where we treated horribly and considered mere animals. With very little Ponies wishing to start an uprising to free us from our life of misery?

 

Usually, it starts with a war. Which we lose and thus we end up enslaved. 

 

Touchy subject, I know. But if multiverse theory is true, then this did happen.

A very intriguing idea for a fanfic. But honestly, if it came down to enslavement, I would think that it would be the other way around, really.

Ponies are a breed of horse which have largely existed for recreational reasons. In other words, most ponies through history have been as they are now: kept for children to ride and little girls to pander to, or competing in performance rides. (Otherwise, they are treated like horses but with less demanding food consumption and smaller, thus cheaper, housing.) Horses on the other hand are treated much more variably and with a more logical spur, far more horses have been treated badly in domesticated circumstance. Just imagine how horses for the past two thousand years, horses were the main piece of rapid equipment in war, until the 20th Century. Nevermind how we've bred other horses for the specific task of hauling arduous loads, back when locomotives weren't in existence yet.

But I would be more afraid of chickens, because the scale of their wholesale and industrial slaughter, as well as the harvesting of the offspring would make any equine (barring pigs and cattle) peanuts in comparison. We murder then by the dozens of millions every year without reprisal.

It depends (parallel universe) if the Ponies meet are overpowered mary sues with the ability to shape shirt into Godilzaa.

 

Or something a less crazy, but none the less more powerful.

I haven't read something like that and I don't think I would read fanfiction like that, because I just can't see it happen in my mind without asking questions like "Why would ponies do that?"

 

I see it easier if it goes the other way, where humans enslave ponies for obvious reasons.

i did some searching, and i found a fanfic that is kinda like this.

it is with only one human tough, and that human came to equestria on accident. but still.

Ponies enslaving humans. Sounds like a Planet of the Apes reference. First, the pets we know as cats and dogs all become infected with a virus that forces us to wipe out the entire species. Leaving us heartbroken, we turn to ponies who have shrunken into little ponies (hahah) that are capable of doing our chores. Thus they are our slaves in a way. Some of them become highly sapient and rebel against us, to the point where they can wield weaponry..... just watch the movies, I wouldn't want to spoil it lol.

 

But hey, at least we'll learn friendship from them as their slaves!

No. And if I found one, I wouldn't read it. There's a lot to be said for creativity, but when an author is going against everything the show stands for and still using its characters for violence/adversity-porn, that's where I draw the line.

I suppose that theoretically ponies as we know them would not have done this, as they're full of love and kindness, although years of slavery changes people.

Making things a bit dark doesn't hurt, but ponies enslaving humans? That's way too much dark. The characters would never do that.

There are a few of them on FimFiction.net. Mostly grimdark, with sexual themes (sex-slavery) too and the main character is often male.

There is even one in which humans are just mere animals, without speech and such. And of course the main character is male human from our world who end's up there. The way prince blueblood looked at the main character with those lust filled eyes pretty much tells what humans are used for.

 

Yes, they do exist and have recently increased in numbers and in every of those fics i wish that the ponies would be visited by an Expedition Fleet of the Imperium of Man.

Ponies honestly won't even try to invade the humans. Their current technology limits them to traveling to their world any time soon, and they have no knowledge of the human world, therefore they would be unable to find it even by using magic.

 

Humans, on the other hand, would be more possible. They have already flew out to space, so they probably have the belief that life exists someplace else. Ergo, they would try to find life not just in the solar system, but on other stars. If they landed on Equestria, they would be the conquistadors.

The ponies are not enslaving the Dragons in their world, and they know they are way more powerful than them.

So why would they enslave, or even attack, while the humans never tried to do so in first place with the ponies?

I don't think humans in this day in age can be enslaved period, unless drugs or mind control was involved. But if it was though the sheer scale of war, intimidation and brutality by a malevolent version of our beloved Equine race, humans would probably fight to the death. The majority of the human race is too proud of being members of the dominant species. Compromising for anything less would be unacceptable. Even if the leaders of the world surrendered, the populations would not. It would make things even more chaotic for the Ponies. A long term guerrilla war would be waged, the insurgents fighting on for years, possibly decades.  It'll take a significant population loss and decline before humankind is in a state to be enslaved, and by that point, there probably wouldn't be enough humans to serve as an effective slave cast. Ponies would have to start breeding more humans and imbuing them w/ traits and behaviors more favored to servitude, effectively domesticating the human race. An entirely new subspecies would be born, the development being akin to wolves degenerating into dogs.

 

Well, that's one perspective anyway.

The only bloody way for ponies to enslave the human race is to beat them and through years upon years of brainwashing them into serving the ponies. The hard part about enslaving the human race is the numbers, military, industry, and technology. The human race would be near impossible for the ponies to beat. Unless you factor in the alicorns and discord. Then that'll even the playing field, even then, it would still not be enough. 

The size of Equestria would be simply far too small to compete with humanity, or even try to enslave them for that matter. They could possible enslave a small portion of humanity, but the whole of humanity? No way. It'll probably end up in the reverse, Humanity enslaving the ponies.

Equestrian technology isn't really effective compared to human weaponry, as far as I know the Equestrian military fights with middle aged weapons while we humans have weapons that could destroy the entire planet.
