Sonic 3 Rainbow Dash hack

Last night, I was looking through Sonic the Hedgehog emulators on Vizzed.com. While looking through, I found an interesting little hack. It was called "Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Rainbow Dash" which is really nothing more than Tails being replaced by Rainbow Dash. Still, it's a neat little novelty.

Man I haven't played Sonic 3 in years. This is pretty awesome though some of the animation for Rainbow is a little weird but I can look past that. I'm playing with w/ only Rainbow being able to fly anywhere is great and I always loved doing that when I was a kid.

 

I look the way she looks when she looking up it's so cute I guess.

Found and downloaded this quite some time ago; it's rather cute and amusing. Could be a lot smoother and more customized for what this fandom is generally capable of across media fronts, but cute nonetheless.

To be honest with you I would love to see something like this except more like a full on Sonic the Hedgehog and Pony crossover game be made... Mainly because I'm a huge sonic fan and a huge pony fan.

 

I was actually in the process of trying to make a funny little Sonichu X Pony crossover game but that one's more for laughs and less of an actually good game.

I wouldn't mind something like that either. I'd imagine it being like an old Sonic game; a 2D side-scrolling adventure. And have it look like it came off of the genesis.

That looks like it would be rather amusing to play. Rainbow Dash and Sonic are fast, so it makes sense. I'll probably download it sometime just to play as Rainbow Dash.

You forgot the Amy vs. Pinkie video (Sonic Vs. RD is my favorite, though)

I'm a HUGE fan of AnimatedJames. I'm a DIE HARD Sonic fan. Same goes for MLP. These videos gave me the ultimate nerdgasm.

I have watched all of those multiple times and i still have yet to see a sonic character defeat a pony. i say that in the first one, rainbow dash won because if it weren't for the conveniently placed emeralds, sonic wouldn't have been able to catch up at the last second. everything rainbow did, she had to use her skills and only those. if it weren't for something that was practically given to him as a boost, sonic wouldn't have had a chance.

I remember playing that ROM hack back in Mo' Ponies 12. I rather liked it! Then again, I really liked Sonic 3.

I just assumed that was due to the limitations of the Genesis. They probably had to stick to the original frame count of Tails or something.

I also love sonic the hedgehog 3 as well, one of my favorite genesis games of all time.

Aww, the palette limitation makes her look like a different pony though! I love Sonic 3, I fully support a hack like this!
